SI GMA LANG ANG KAYA NI PNOY!

Much as I hate to say it, babae lang yata talaga ang kayang harapin ni Pnoy, in particular former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo (GMA).

Pnoy again hit the Arroyo administration with GENERIC, UNSPECIFIED allegations of fraud to justify his EMPTY claims of accomplishments.

Look at these PATHETIC LIES of Pnoy, and the HYPOCRISY behind them, which he delivered in the opening session of the Asian Development Bank’s annual board of governors’ meeting::

Pnoy said: “We showed our resolve that no public official, regardless of his or her position, will be beyond the reach of justice and accountability.”

Pnoy’s political adviser, Ronald Llamas, was caught in the act of, and admitted to, buying PIRATED digital video discs (DVD), an ILLEGAL product. Llamas only got a REPRIMAND.

Interior and Local Government Undersecretary Rico Puno was publicly and categorically accused by recognized anti-jueteng advocate Bishop (ret) Oscar Cruz of receiving bribe money.

Pnoy DID NOT EVEN ORDER an investigation.

Instead, he PERSONALLY AND IMMEDIATELY CLEARED Puno of any wrongdoing, and even challenged critics to present evidence first.

Administrative actions were recommended by a fact-finding body against Transportation and Communications Undersecretary Virgie Torres over her official actions.

NOTHING was done to implement the recommendations.

Pagcor Chair Bong Naguiat was accused of receiving or enjoying undue perks and privileges during a trip to Macau wit his entire family.  He wasn’t probed and instead, Malacanang defended his actions by saying it was common practice for people in his position.

ANONG KATARANTADUHAN NGAYON ANG SINASABI NI PNOY NA NO PUBLIC OFFICIAL WILL BE BEYOND THE REACH OF JUSTICE AND ACCOUNTABILITY?

Pnoy said: “With too few jobs being generated, our people were trapped in a downward spiral: no education, no work, no chance to improve their lot in life.”

The conditional cash transfer program (CCT) for the poor, which Pnoy boasts as having been given a four-fold increase in budget, is a BRAINCHILD AND ORIGINAL PROJECT of former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

Not his or his administration. So what vicious lie is Pnoy saying that during the previous administration, the people had “no chance to improve their lot in life?”

Pnoy did not specify how few were the jobs being generated during the previous administration. Basta too few, tapos.  Which reminded me, he has been claming that millions of jobs since his term started.

But he has yet to show any evidence of it – names of the newly-hired, their employers and work locations. He can’t even show proof that these supposed new jobs were due to his government’s efforts, and not because of product quality or cheap price or other related factors.

Pnoy even sweepingly claimed that slots for the government’s conditional cash transfer program “handed out in exchange for votes.”  But as always, HE COULD NOT SPECIFY EVEN ONE PROOF of it.

And talking about votes, the CCT already has a four-fold increase in budget, and ELECTIONS will be held NEXT YEAR!

Pnoy said he spent the first two years of his administration instituting reforms to fight poverty and corruption. The latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey, which his government faithfully subscribes to, says SELF-RATED POVERTY increased, by some two million families if I remember correctly. 

For the record, I’m not saying that the Arroyo Administration is 100 percent clean. I never will.

What I’m saying is ENOUGH OF DECEPTION through nice-sounding but EMPTY allegations of ACHIEVEMENTS  by Pnoy. We need SPECIFICS. We’re not SUCKERS. Neither are we IDIOTS!
