PNOY'S SUSPICIOUS ORDER TO ROXAS!

Pnoy's order to dismantle private armies as the priority of newly-appointed Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Sec. Mar Roxas is both SURPRISING and SUSPICIOUS.

While there’s no question that it’s very important, I was expecting Pnoy to order Roxas to first go after two very rich sources of funds for maintaining private armies.

The ILLEGAL numbers game JUETENG and DRUG TRAFFICKING. 

Two of the BIGGEST and MOST PROFITABLE criminal activities with estimated earnings of NOT LESS than billions of pesos yearly, enough money to buy as many weapons and pay for as many killers as a politician want to hire.

Makapagbubuo lamang ng private army ang sinuman kapag mayroon siyang MILYUN-MILYONG pisong extra na kinikita buwan-buwan.

KUNG WALANG PERA, WALANG PRIVATE ARMY.

Roxas can crush as many private armies as he can but all that the politician or warlord has to do is HIRE NEW KILLERS and buy new guns to form a new group.

So I really couldn’t help but wonder why Pnoy wants Roxas to crack down first on private armies, INSTEAD OF THE SOURCES OF FUNDS of the bosses of these criminals.

Especially considering the fact that both jueteng and drug-trafficking are among the TOP RESPONSIBILITIES of the Philippine National Police (PNP), which is UNDER THE DILG.

Keep in mind, people, that apart from being a cash cow, illegal drugs have been the cause of countless violent crimes committed by both addicts and occasional users.

Let me also remind you people that since Pnoy became president. NEVER HAS HE DONE ANYTHING against jueteng.

Pnoy has NEVER ORDERED a crackdown on jueteng and jueteng lords. NEVER has he asked his allies in the Senate and the House of Representatives to come up with a proposed law providing stiff penalties against jueteng to hopefully help stop it.

The only time Pnoy said something about jueteng was when, shortly after he assumed office, he declared that something was being prepared by his government against the ILLEGAL game.

NOTHING was heard from Pnoy of whatever was supposedly being readied then. As in NOTHING. As if jueteng does not exist.

Anybody correct me if I’m wrong.     

Take your pick, boys and girls: Pnoy is misinformed, has friends linked to jueteng and illegal drugs or is simply too stupid not to realize that if there’s no dirty money, there will be no private armies.

Henares admitted to Radyo Inquirer that the bureau’s evidence against former Chief Justice Renato Corona for tax evasion was still incomplete. Meaning, TOO WEAK to stand scrutiny.

HINDI PA PALA KUMPLETO EBIDENSIYA, kinasuhan na agad si Corona.

Henares said what they have so far still shows that tax evasion has been committed by the former Chief Justice. .

So ibig sabihin, Ms. Henares, kung sa  preliminary investigation pa lang ay ma-dismiss na ang kaso, dahil nga hindi pa kumpleto ebidensiya, sorry na lang si Corona kung nasira na naman ang reputasyon niya, ganun ba?

Kung hindi pa WALANGHIYAAN  ang tawag dito, puwedeng konrtahin ng kahit sino? Siguruhin lang na may DETALYE  argument ninyo.

I’m not a lawyer.

But I’m aware of the fact that SANE or PROFESSIONAL lawyers file cases ONLY when they have COMPLETE,  and strong evidence.  Especially those from government since they know they will be WASTING TAXPAYERS’ money.

The questionable, multi-billion tax and duties refunds granted by the Bureau of Customs to various people, and the more than P3 billion ‘over-the-counter’ disbursements by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD);

The supposed non-declaration of Chief Justice Ma. Lourdes Sereno of P25 million she had earned as a government consultant in her statement of assets, liabilities and net worth;

The INCONSISTENCIES in the statements of Robredo plane crash survivor June Paolo Abrazado.

Tandaan natin, mga kababayan, IDINEMANDA ni Henares si Corona habang HINDI PA MAIPALIWANAG ng kahit na sino ang mga kontrobersiyang ito.

Imbes na pagpaliwanagin ni Pnoy si Customs Commisioner Ruffy Biazxom DSWD Sec, Dunky Soliman at siSereno demanda laban kay Corona ang isinagot nila.

Kung si Henares kaya ang nasa lugar ni Corona, ano kaya ang magiging reaksiyon niya? 30

The filing of tax evasion charges against former Chief Justice Renato Corona and some members of his family is nothing but a VULGAR AND AMATEURISH diversionary tactic by the government.

No less than the Commission on Audit (CoA) has just revealed P30 BILLION in ILLEGAL TRANSACTIONS in the Bureau of Customs (BoC) and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DWSD).

CoA Chairperson Grace Pulido-Tan said the BoC granted P26 billion in refunds of duties and taxes in 2011, even if these are not allowed under the Tariff and Customs Code of the Philippines

Pulido-Tan also bared “over-the-counter” disbursements of P3.77 billion for the conditional cash transfer (CCT) program being implemented by the DSWD.

May narinig o nabalitaan na ba kayong gagawing aksiyon ni Pnoy o ng mga tauhan niya tungkol sa mga pagbubunyag na ito? May nabalitaan na ba kayo na ipapatawag o papaimbestigahan ni Pnoy sina Customs Commissioner Ruffy Biazon at DSWD Sec. Dinky Soliman.

Second controversy:

New Chief Justice Ma. Lourdes Sereno reportedly DID NOT DECLARE P25 million which she had earned as a consultant for two international cases involving the government. In the psychological evaluation give to then nominees for Chief Justice, Sereno’s score was SECOND TO THE LOWEST.

Pero narinig o nabalitaan na ba ninyo si Pnoy na nagpahayag na pagpapaliwanagin niya si Sereno tungkol sa mga kontrobersyang ito? Ako HINDI.

Third controversy:

For the second time, somebody supposedly from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) claimed to ABS-CBN that the licenses of Robredo crash pilot Jessup Bahinting were expired.

And that there were problems with the papers of Bahinting’s company Aviatour, to which the ill-fated plane was registered. But also for the second time, the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) categorically BELIED THIS.

DOTC spokesman Nic Conti said Bahinting’s flight instructor and commercial pilot licenses are VALID until April next year. Conti added that Aviatour’s chartered flight or air taxi license was valid until November this year.

Iisa lang ang ibig sabihin nito – PILIT NA SINISIRA ang reputasyon ni Bahinting at pinalilitaw na HINDI NIYA AWTORISADONG paliparin ang eroplanong sinakyan ni Robredo at ng aide nitong si June Paolo Abrazado nang  bumagsak ito noong Agosto 18.

Narining n’yo na ba o nabalitaan na pinagpapaliwanag ni Pnoy ang CAAPat ang DOTC?  AKO HINDI!

Any correct me if I’m wrong.

Otherwise, keep this in mind, people: You only divert attention from somebody or from an issue if you WANT TO HIDE something ILLEGAL OR IMMORAL in them.

If there’s nothing to hide, then there’s nothing to worry about if the people keep an eye on that person or issue, even 24 hours a day.

SERENO'S MENTAL HEALTH MORE IMP'T THAN SALN!

It’s records of her mental health, not her Statements of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN), which Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno should UNCONDITIONALLY BARE FIRST to the people.

Remember, people, Sereno got a score of 4 with 5 at the lowest  in the psychological evaluation given by the Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) to all nominees during their search for the new Chief Justice.
 

And the JBC has NOT DENIED this to date.

All that the JBC and Sereno’s supporters are emphasizing is she did not fail the psychological evaluation. This even if NOBODY is saying so in the first place.

Sereno’s MENTAL STABILITY is FAR, FAR MORE IMPORTANT than her wealth in the performance of her duties as Chief Justice.

Sapat na katinuan ng isip ang magdidikta kay Sereno ng TAMA, MAKA-DIYOS AT MAKATAONG desisyon sa anumang magiging hakbang niya bilang Punong Mahistrado.

HINDI ANG DAMI ng pera niya.

If Sereno is psychologically unstable, then there is a high risk that her decisions or actions will be MORE PERSONAL THAN LEGAL OR ETHICAL.

A scenario of what she, or whoever she wants to please if any, feels or thinks about an issue, instead of what is lawful or unlawful about it. Definitely not the kind of Chief Justice the country needs.

So don’t be blinded by the disclosure of Sereno’s SALN or other publicity stunts about her in the coming days, for us to forget the UNCERTAINTY of her psychological stability.

I dont really see the point in all these suspicions, finger pointing, and accusations surrounding the tragic crash until all the wrecked pieces of the plane are retrieved, pieced together and a reputable aircraft technical investigative body thoroughly check everything. Of course, all angles must be taken into consideration including pilot's error but this will be done only to prevent any repetition of such an accident not to come out with a theory that the secretary was eliminated intentionally. MAR'S STATEMENTS STRENGTHEN ROBREDO COVER-UP FEARS!

The latest pronouncements by Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) Secretary Mar Roxas strengthen fears of a COVER-UP on the circumstances before and after the plane crash that killed DI:LG Sec. Jesse Robredo.

In a story in today’s issue of the Philippine Star, Roxas was quoted as saying that ““As far as I know, (crash pilot Capt. Jessup) Bahinting’s licenses were current.”

This BELIES claims of a supposed Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) source who was not named in newspaper reports that Bahinting’s licenses had expired as far as their records show.

Therefore, the source said Bahinting should not have flown the plane.

DOTC spokesman lawyer Nicasio Conti, said Bahinting’s pilot license will expire in March 2013. The air taxi operator’s permit of Bahinting’s Aviatour, to whom the ill-fated plane was 

registered, is valid until Nov. 14 this year.

Another bombshell bared by Roxas was “Bahinting was in the captain’s seat, the left one.”

CONTRARY to earlier media reports that according to, again, sources, Bahinting’s body was found on the right seat of the cockpit, which means he was not the pilot in command.

Remember, guys, Roxas is DOTC secretary so his statements are OFFICIAL. Unlike supposed sources who are NOT EVEN IDENTIFIED and thus, have NO AUTHORITY to speak on the matter.

As I had written in our preceding blog, the supposed CAAP source categorically and sweepingly revealed the supposed expiration of Bahinting’s licenses to media last Sunday.

In a second story yesterday, the supposed CAAP source said Bahinting’s licenses were 

still valid but were not encoded in the agency’s computer data bank.

Kumbaga, HINANAPAN PA RIN NG BUTAS. 

CAAP will expectedly deny any effort by anybody in the agency to demolish the reputation of Bahinting in an obvious attempt to blame him for the tragedy.

A simple test can find out if this is true.

CAAP should IMMEDIATELY FIND OUT who the source is, identify him or her in public and in media and place that person under investigation and suspension.

Identifying the source should not be too difficult.

That person went to the extent of revealing the commercial license number of Bahinting, 75-C-25, and his instructor license number,76-15. That means he or she has access to this data. And surely, NOT ALL CAAP employees can do this.   

If CAAP will NOT DO ANYTHING to identify and investigate the source, that will be INDISPUTABLE proof of a COVER-UP of what really happened  before and after the cras last Aug. 18.

Sereno refused to talk to reporters right after she was sworn into office by Pnoy in Malacanang.

If she can casually refuse harmless, casual media interviews (it’s her first day as chief justice so obviously nothing sensitive to talk about) this early, how can we EXPECT TRANSPARENCY from her, and for that matter the Supreme Court, on controversial issues?

It would have been perfectly understandable if Sereno had to attend to an emergency and rush out of Malacanang.

But media reports say after the oath-taking, Sereno proceeded to the wake of Interior and Local Government Sec. Jesse Robredo in another area of Malacanang to pay he respects.

Sa madaling salita, BINALE-WALA lang talaga ang mga taga-media.

Kaya’t kung taga-media na ay nagawa pang isnabin ni Sereno na parang walang nangyari, ano kaya ang gagawin niya kung mga MAHIHIRAP, mga MARURUMI O AMOY ARAW na mahihirap, ang magtatangkang kumausap sa kaniya upang humingi ng tulong.

Isipin pa lang ay KINIKILABUTAN na ako.

If this is the way Sereno plans to treat media, then the Supreme Court’s media relations staff had better orient her on media relations, and I mean IMMEDIATELY.

They had better tell the Chief Justice that media deserves as much respect as her anytime, any place.

And that more importantly, media can MAKE OR BREAK HER but not the other way around. They had better remind her that she’ll only be Chief Justice for 18 years (hopeguly at that) but media will be around FOREVER.

Kung hindi makikisama si Sereno sa media, huwag siyang aangal o sinuman sa Korte Suprema kapag natitira sila sa kanilang mga gawain o desisyon. Huwag siyang magrereklamo na abusado ang mga taga-media, lalo pa kung WALA SYANG EBIDENSIYA.

Meanwhile, don’t be TOO OPTIMISTIC about total transparency in the Supreme Court ifi Sereno doesn’t change her ways with media. 30
