The latest pronouncements by Department of Transportation and
Communications (DOTC) Secretary Mar Roxas strengthen fears of a COVER-UP on the circumstances before and after the plane crash that killed DI:LG Sec. Jesse Robredo.
In a story in today’s issue of the Philippine Star, Roxas was
quoted as saying that ““As far as I know, (crash pilot Capt. Jessup) Bahinting’s licenses were current.”
This BELIES claims of a supposed Civil Aviation Authority of
the Philippines (CAAP) source who was not named in newspaper reports that
Bahinting’s licenses had expired as far as their records show.
Therefore, the source said Bahinting should not have flown the
plane.
DOTC spokesman lawyer Nicasio Conti, said
Bahinting’s pilot license will expire in March 2013. The air taxi operator’s
permit of Bahinting’s Aviatour, to whom the ill-fated plane was
registered, is
valid until Nov. 14 this year.
Another bombshell bared by Roxas was
“Bahinting was in the captain’s seat, the left one.”
CONTRARY to earlier media reports that
according to, again, sources, Bahinting’s body was found on the right seat of
the cockpit, which means he was not the pilot in command.
Remember, guys, Roxas is DOTC secretary
so his statements are OFFICIAL. Unlike supposed sources who are NOT EVEN
IDENTIFIED and thus, have NO AUTHORITY to speak on the matter.
As I had written in our preceding blog, the supposed CAAP source
categorically and sweepingly revealed the supposed expiration of Bahinting’s
licenses to media last Sunday.
In a second story yesterday, the supposed CAAP source said
Bahinting’s licenses were
still valid but were not encoded in the agency’s
computer data bank.
Kumbaga, HINANAPAN PA RIN NG BUTAS.
CAAP will expectedly deny any effort by anybody in the agency to
demolish the reputation of Bahinting in an obvious attempt to blame him for the
tragedy.
A simple test can find out if this is true.
CAAP should IMMEDIATELY FIND OUT who the source is, identify him
or her in public and in media and place that person under investigation and
suspension.
Identifying the source should not be too
difficult.
That person went to the extent of
revealing the commercial license number of Bahinting, 75-C-25, and his
instructor license number,76-15. That means he or she has access to this data. And
surely, NOT ALL CAAP employees can do this.
If CAAP will NOT DO ANYTHING to identify
and investigate the source, that will be INDISPUTABLE proof of a COVER-UP of
what really happened before and after
the cras last Aug. 18.

They should retrieve the black box to know
more of what had happened....there are indications or hearsay that the plane
was flying too low for an attempt to land on water. The plane was basically
gliding without power and finally crashes on water. Sounds like a mechanical
trouble that could be traced back to the plane’s maintenance logbook.

protesting whatever wrong information they have been putting out regarding her
husband's seating arrangement. Media is saying that the Nepalese pilot was on
the left seat - the main pilot's seat. And she contradicted their claimm saying
