Pnoy’s admission that Malacanang is helping Chief Justice aspirant Justice Sec. Leila de Lima in her disbarment case is NOTHING LESS than PAKAPALAN NG MUKHA for both of them

First: it is an INDISPUTABLE fact that under the rules, anyone facing a disbarment case is BARRED from seeking the post of Chief Justice.

Second: the Judiciary is INDEPENDENT from the Executive branch of government, which Pnoy heads as President. It is UNETHICAL and IMMORAL, to say the least, for him to MEDDLE in any way iin the selection of the next Chief Justice.

Third and related to this, De Lima, therefore, should NOT ACCEPT any help from Pnoy in clearing herself of the disbarment case she is facing, especially if she has not really done something wrong.

Fourth: Even if De Lima is Pnoy’s choice for Chief Justice, IT DOESN’T FOLLOW that the Filipino people also want her too.

Pnoy, therefore, SHOULD NOT USE Malacanang personnel and resources, which are ALL PAID FOR BY OUR TAXES, in pushing her to the top Supreme Court post.

BAKIT TAYO ANG KAILANGANG GUMASTOS sa kagustuhan niyang maging Chief Justice si De Lima? SARILING PERA NIYA ang gastusin niya. SUPER KAPAL naman ng mukha ni Pnoy!

Fifth: De Lima PUBLICLY AND SHAMELESSLY HUMILIATED former Chief Justice Renato Corona, describing him as a lawless tyrant, and OPENLY DEFIED a Supreme Court order which allowed former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to seek medical treatment abroad.

Pero para kay Pnoy, AYOS LANG ang KABASTUSAN at PAGBALE-WALA ni De Lima  sa Korte Suprema. Para sa kaniya, ang isang BASTOS na tulad ni De Lima ang karapat-dapat na maging Chief Justice.

Dapat pala, maging BASTOS at AROGANTE ka para makadaan ka sa tuwid na daan ni Pnoy!.

Given all these, guys, imagine what kind of a Chief Justice would De Lima be? Think of what kind of mentality ACTUALLY does Pnoy have, and what kind of justice can we expect from them if they get to control the Supreme Court?

Carandang has practically blamed Mother Nature for the government’s MISERABLE PERFORMANCE to the onslaught of Typhoon Gener, which left 24 people dead and almost 70,000 families affected or displaced.

PATI KALIKASAN, SINSISI na sa mga KAKULANGAN at KAPALPAKAN NILA. Hindi pa rin nila kasalanan. Kumbaga, PERPEKTO SILA at anumang nangyari, kasalanan ng iba at hindi nila.

Kaya KASALANAN ni Gener kung bakit mabagal ang pagdating ng relief goods sa mga binaha, o kung bakit  hindi napigilan ang pagtaas ng baha sa maraming lugar.

Pagiisip ng isang NASISIRAAN na ng bait.

In effect, what Carandang is saying is the Government’s PATHETIC response to Gener was SOLELY due to the typhoon, and not because of POOR PLANNING or INCOMPETENT planners and disaster management personnel.

Even if COMMON SENSE DICTATES that when you plan something, you plan for the WORST POSSIBLE SCENARIO in ensuring MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY of your  staff and accomplishment of their task.

A high school kid would have known better.

Carandang said the government’s preparations seemed to have fallen short, since storms and earthquakes are happening more often.

Pero WALA NAMAN SIYANG NABANGGIT kahit isang preparasyon kuno. Mamili kayo, mga kababayan, NA-AMNESIA O NILOLOKO TAYO ni Carandang?

SAAN NGA BA NAPUNTA ang mga pondong nakalaan para sa mga flood control projects? Nasaan ang kuwenta at mga resibo o papeles ng mga nagastos?  May proyekto ba kasi?

This is what we should all ask of Pnoy, Carandang and any other concerned government official, ladies and gentlemen.,  What HAVE THEY DONE, not what they intend to do.

And in so doing, keep in mind that we’ have a government who consider themselves as God, who NEVER MAKES MISTAKES and always have SOMEBODY ELSE to blame for whatever happens.

In case you missed it, these are excerpts from the column of respected journalist Ninez Cacho Olivarez in Monday’s issue of The Daily Tribune:

TESDA chief Joel Villanueva was tasked by (President) Aquino to pressure presiding Sandiganbayan Justice Efren de la Cuz, a member of Jesus is Lord (JIL) movement to ensure the arrest and detention of former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo (GMA) on plunder charges.

Joel’s father, JIL head Bro. Eddie Villanueva, is said to be talking with Justice De la Cruz. A close and trusted aide of President Aquino was also tasked to work on the two remaining justices, Rodolfo Ponferada and Rafael Lagos.

Pressure was said to be placed by the Office of the President on the Office of the Special Prosecutor, which is headed by Wendell Sulit, to quickly dismiss the motion for reconsideration submitted by Arroyo’s counsels

I’m reposting this to alert everyone to these ILLEGAL, IMMORAL and dictatorial maneuvers, and to hopefully enlighten all of you on why I find Ms. Olivarez’s revelations credible and should be taken seriously.

First, Ms. Olivarez would not have dared NAME NAMES if her information is not A-1 or very, very reliable. If there is one thing us writers would like to avoid as much as possible, it’s LIBEL.

Second, the details of the expose are LOGICAL.

Justice Dela Cruz is a JIL member so naturally, the JIL head is the one who should talk to him. If Ms. Olivarez’s sources had claimed it was a Catholic bishop or a mere Malacanang official, or somebody else not as influential as Bro. Eddie, it would have been doubtful.

Third, Sulit is facing cases of her own so it would be a lot easier for Malacanang to pressure her.

Fourth, the political ambition of Joel is PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE. He wants to run for senator in next year’s polls. If his dad succeeds in pressuring Justice Dela Cruz, he’ll be a sure member of Pnoy’s senatorial bets.

Now, KEEP IN MIND PEOPLE, that the foremost ground for plunder is the accused POCKETTED THE MONEY. And in the plunder raps GMA is facing over PCSO funds, NO EVIDENCE was submitted by the Ombudsman that she had done that.

If a warrant will still be issued for GMA’s arrest, it will be another UNDENIABLE PROOF that we are now living in an UNOFFICIAL DICTATORSHIP under Pnoy.

A government wherein the ONLY LAW IS WHAT THEY WANT, NOT WHAT AND HOW IT SHOULD BE. 

And if they can do it to somebody like GMA, THEY CAN AND WILL DO IT to ordinary mortals LIKE US, once we incur Pnoy’s ire or those of his puppets and lapdogs.

Pnoy DOES NOT HAVE ANY RIGHT TO SHAME the TV anchor, or any other person, in public. I’m not a lawyer but I will dare say that THERE’S NO LAW which allows the President of the country to HUMILIATE anybody anytime he wants.

Even if his anger at De Castro had been valid, Pnoy should have BEEN MAN ENOUGH with the basic DECENCY AND CIVILITY to talk things out with the TV anchor in private.

LAHAT NG MAY PINAGARALAN, nakatapos man o hindi, ay ALAM ANG KAGANDAHANG ASAL na ito. At ang alam ko, nakapag-aral naman si Pnoy.

Kapag hindi ginamit ng isang tao ang kaniyang pinagaralan at sa halip na daanin sa maayos na usapan ay HIHIYAIN pa ang isang kaniyang kinaiinisan, MASAHOL pa sita sa SANGGANO.

Pero sa lahat n\g sanggano, ito ang DUWAG!

If he’s man enough, Pnoy should have confronted De Castro ONE-ON-ONE and settled the score between themselves, and not before anyone else.

But as reports showed, Pnoy SHAMED De Castro in the TV anchor’s ABSENCE. And instead of being the gentleman he is supposed to be, being the President of the country, Pnoy acted like a rumor-mongering fishwife (PALENGKERANG TSISMOSA) and broadcast his gripes instead before TV Patrol personnel and guests.

Ang TUNAY NA LALAKI, HINDI ISJANDALOSO o TSISMOSO.

And in fairness to my former colleagues in media (I’m a former senior editor of the Journal Group of Publications), allow me to defend the profession against Pnoys and Malacanang’s HYPOCRITICAL and IDIOTIC  alibi that all the President was after was FACTUAL and BALANCED REPORTING.

To Pnoy and Presidential Spokespersons Edwin Lacierda and Abigai Valte, as well as their lapdogs:

Cite even one news story wherein media lied, or made a mistake with the details just to put you people in a bad light before the public eye. Better yet, come out with proof that the error (s), if any, was deliberate.

To prove that media was not factual in coming out with the story.

Produce even one news story wherein Pnoy or anyone of you was attacked and your side did not come out, to show that media was not balanced in handling it.

Lastly, produce even one evidence showing that you people have the PROFESSIONAL or ACADEMIC background to comment or lecture on media and how it works, or should work.

Kung hindi ninyo mapapatunayan ang  lahat ng ito, SAGAD SA KAPAL ang mga mukha ninyo para MAGDUNUNG-DUNGAN sa pagtira sa media ar pagtuturo ng dapat gawin ng mga ito.

Saan man daanin, WALA KAYONG KARAPATAN.
