CREDIBLE EXPOSE ON PRESSURE FOR GMA'S ARREST!

In case you missed it, these are excerpts from the column of respected journalist Ninez Cacho Olivarez in Monday’s issue of The Daily Tribune:

TESDA chief Joel Villanueva was tasked by (President) Aquino to pressure presiding Sandiganbayan Justice Efren de la Cuz, a member of Jesus is Lord (JIL) movement to ensure the arrest and detention of former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo (GMA) on plunder charges.

Joel’s father, JIL head Bro. Eddie Villanueva, is said to be talking with Justice De la Cruz. A close and trusted aide of President Aquino was also tasked to work on the two remaining justices, Rodolfo Ponferada and Rafael Lagos.

Pressure was said to be placed by the Office of the President on the Office of the Special Prosecutor, which is headed by Wendell Sulit, to quickly dismiss the motion for reconsideration submitted by Arroyo’s counsels

I’m reposting this to alert everyone to these ILLEGAL, IMMORAL and dictatorial maneuvers, and to hopefully enlighten all of you on why I find Ms. Olivarez’s revelations credible and should be taken seriously.

First, Ms. Olivarez would not have dared NAME NAMES if her information is not A-1 or very, very reliable. If there is one thing us writers would like to avoid as much as possible, it’s LIBEL.

Second, the details of the expose are LOGICAL.

Justice Dela Cruz is a JIL member so naturally, the JIL head is the one who should talk to him. If Ms. Olivarez’s sources had claimed it was a Catholic bishop or a mere Malacanang official, or somebody else not as influential as Bro. Eddie, it would have been doubtful.

Third, Sulit is facing cases of her own so it would be a lot easier for Malacanang to pressure her.

Fourth, the political ambition of Joel is PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE. He wants to run for senator in next year’s polls. If his dad succeeds in pressuring Justice Dela Cruz, he’ll be a sure member of Pnoy’s senatorial bets.

Now, KEEP IN MIND PEOPLE, that the foremost ground for plunder is the accused POCKETTED THE MONEY. And in the plunder raps GMA is facing over PCSO funds, NO EVIDENCE was submitted by the Ombudsman that she had done that.

If a warrant will still be issued for GMA’s arrest, it will be another UNDENIABLE PROOF that we are now living in an UNOFFICIAL DICTATORSHIP under Pnoy.

A government wherein the ONLY LAW IS WHAT THEY WANT, NOT WHAT AND HOW IT SHOULD BE. 

And if they can do it to somebody like GMA, THEY CAN AND WILL DO IT to ordinary mortals LIKE US, once we incur Pnoy’s ire or those of his puppets and lapdogs.

Think about it, guys. Think very hard about it.
