PALACE HAND IN RAPS VS CORONA EMERGES!

In today’s issue of the Manila Standard Today, Presidential Spokesman Edwin Lacierda was quoted as saying, in reference to Chief Justice Renato Corona:

“At the very least, look at what we have discovered? Who knew he (had) $10 million?”

Take note, people, Lacierda used the word “we.”  This can only mean that he, or Malacanang, WERE IN on this allegation of several people who had filed complaints against Corona before the Office of the Ombudsman.

The question is who’s “we.” 

Why is Malacanang, or Lacierda or anybody form their camp, MEDDLING in a complaint (s) by PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS?

If Lacierda will say Malacanang does not have a hand in the complaint (s), then he SHOULD EXPLAIN what he meant by “we have discovered.” Shame on you, Mr. Lacierda, if you’ll say it’s a slip of the tongue!

And look at how DESPERATE Lacierda is just to have something to say against Corona, an d earn ‘pogi points’ befor ePn oy’s eyes.

As I had pointed out earlier, Lacierda CATEGORICALLY SAID: “Who knew he (had) $10 million?” Meaning, it’s already a CERTAINTY for him, even if the Office of the Ombudsman HAS NOT YET STARTED PROBING the issue.

GUILTY na agad si Corona para kay Lacierda. Mas magaling, mas marunong pa siya, kesa kay Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales.   

That’s how MALICIOUS Lacierda is.

If Lacierda will say he’s not being malicious towards Corona, then he had better have PROOF that the Chief Justice indeed has $10 million. If he can’t show any, NOW, God have mercy on those who will still believe him.

And since Lacierda says, in reference to Corona’s campo, why not settle everything in the Senate, then he should apply throw the same challenge to himself.

Why not volunteer as a witness in the impeachment trial, or at the Ombudsman? That is, if he has any evidence to show, and the balls to do it.

The Office of the Ombudsman is merely doing its job. There were  complaints so they acted on it. Even unsigned complaints can be acted upon by the ombudsman, so why impute malice when the complaints against  "the crown" was acted upon?

I agree with you. Morales and the Inquirer are being used by Malacanang to smear Corona . But if ever the ombudsman is probing allegations versus Corona on the basis of unsubstantiated complaints, it can do so ‘coz it’s within its mandate.  However, the act of probing should not be announced.
