CORONA PROSECUTORS IN BIG TROUBLE!

Prosecutors in the impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona are in BIG TROUBLE!

There is now a MORE REALISTIC possibility on how the account records of Corona at PSBank leaked out, worlds apart from their claim of an anonymous source.

And they have a lot of explaining to do on the 42 DIFFERENCES noted by PSBank officials between Corona’s original specimen signature cards and copies they earlier submitted to the Senate Impeachment Court.

PSBank president Pascual Garcia, upon questioning by Presiding Judge Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile, testified that from September to November 2010, BSP and AMLC representatives conducted a bank-wide audit of PSBank records.

But it was the AMLC representative who asked specifically for Corona’s signature card from the Katipunan branch. Garcia said the representative even asked for photocopies of Corona’s signature cards.

Garcia identified the auditor as one Jerry Leal.

Now don’t forget, ladies and gentlemen, the prosecution HAS NOT YET presented proof of their claim that their documents were given by an anonymous ‘short lady’ to congressman-prosecutor Rey Umali at the Senate.

And closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage at the Senate DID NOT SHOW anyone giving anything to Umali on the day he claimed that the handover took place.

Garcia and PSBank Katipunan branch manager Annabelle Tiongson have also been consistent in testifying that only a select few have access to signature cards.

So the BURDEN OF PROOF is now on the prosecution.

Prosecutors had better come up with DETAILS or SPECIFICS on their ‘short lady’ alibi in securing Corona’s supposed records.

They will have to prove that none of them has any link to Leal.

Since they insist up to now that the supposed records were not fakes, the prosecutors must BELIE the 42 DIFFERENCES cited by Garcia between their copies and those of the originals.

If they fail to do these, they’re nothing less than a BUNCH OF LIARS who must APOLOGIZE to us, the people, for WASTING OUR TAXES on the impeachment trial.

If the prosecutors can’t present any CONVINCING PROOF, anyone who will still believe in them is INSANE!
