GARAPALANG PAMBOBOLA NI PNOY!

If you visit nquirer.net now, you will find a story quoting Pnoy as saying that since he became president in 2010, P439 billion in investments have poured into the Philippine Export Processing Zone.

Think about it, people:

Pnoy assumed office on June 30, 2010. Make that July 1 if you want, the start of the second half of the year. There are 365 days in a year. So from July 1, 2010 to Dec. 31, 2011 is 547 days.

As of today, we’re now in the 56^th day of 2012. Add this to 547 and you get 603 days.

Here’s the catch: If you divide P438 billion by 603 days, you’ll get 700 million plus. That means an average of P700 MILLION DAILY in investments since he became president.

I’m not a businessman. Financially, I’ve been an ordinary guy all my life but I will still dare say this is the MOTHER OFALL BULLSHIT claims of Pnoy.

Especially since:

HE DID NOT IDENTIFY any of the investors who had brought in that supposed P439 billion, how many are they and how much did each one have.

HE DID NOT SPECIFY where did these supposed P439 billion in investments go to – no names of companies who opened shop or relocated to the PEZA, no enumeration of industries involved, no location of where these supposed investors set up operations in the PEZA.  

HE DIDN’T SAY HOW MANY JOBS were generated by the supposed P439 billion investments.

HE DIDN’T SAY if all of these P439 billion investments are still doing business in the PEZA or not anymore.

As I’ve said in my preceding blog, I haven’t read or heard of SUCCESSIVE or SIMULTANEOUS openings or inaugurations of new businesses anywhere in the country since Pnoy became president.

And to top it all, Pnoy alleged that fort last year alone, P288.3 billion in investments were poured into the PEZA. That means close to P1 BILLION A DAY, guys!

So where the hell are these investments? What physical proof does Pnoy have of all these, apart from his own words and earth-shaking numbers?

Judge for yourselves, ladies and gentlemen, especially the business executives and businessmen/industrialists among you.

Just assure me of one thing: We are NOT, and will NEVER BE, a nation of suckers!
