SERENO'S WORD ISN'T AUTOMATICALLY THE TRUTH!

It’s BRAINWASHING TIME again for the prosecution in the impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona.

The prosecution is already declaring that only Supreme Court Associate Justice Ma. Lourdes Sereno could shed light on the truth of Corona’s supposed partiality on the tribunal’s order to the Department of Justice not to implement its hold-departure order on former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

Meaning, whatever Sereno says if she’ll indeed testify, is automatically the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. As we say in religion, Sereno’s word is Gospel truth.

Before the prosecution FOOLS or BRAINWASHES anyone again, remember these:

Whatever Sereno says, whether in or out of the Senate Impeachment Court, is not AUTOMATICALLY TRUE. Anything she’ll say is still subject to CONFIRMATION.

It’s only the Senate Impeachment Court WHO CAN RULE whether or not Sereno’s statement, if there will be any, is true or not.

NOBODY ELSE has the MORAL or LEGAL RIGHT to repeatedly PREJUDGE Sereno’s supposed observations as the TRUTH and to CONDITION THE PUBLIC MIND into accepting it as such.

Not prosecutor Rep. Nedy Colmenares, who has been PESTERING the Senate to invite Sereno to testify in the impeachment trial, or anybody else in the prosecution.

Not Pnoy, or anybody else in Malacanang.

Remember, boys and girls, Colmenares or any other member of the prosecution WAS NOT PRESENT when Sereno wrote her supposed observations of Corona’s impartiality in the issuance of the TRO.

So it is both MALICIOIUS, and IDIOTIC for Colmenares to declare that only Sereno could shed light on the truth.

The prosecution also doesn't have the MONOPOLY OF TRUTH  in the impeachment trial. 

Furthermore, the Senate Impeachment Court has already ruled the testimony of Justice Sec. Leila de Lima, which was based PRIMARILY on Sereno’s supposed observations as HEARSAY.

Why DIGNIFY a hearsay testimony with the testimony of Sereno?

If De Lima’s testimony had been ruled as hearsay, it’s ONLY the prosecution’s fault ALONE.

It’s nothing less than PATHETIC ARROGANCE for them to still  practically.DICTATE to the Senate Impeachment Court on inviting Sereno to redeem their MISERABLE HANDLING of the case.

Besides, the Senate is considering a motion by Sen. Antonio Trillanes to send a questionnaire to Sereno in lieu of a personal appearance.   The same information or details will be sought by the senators.

So I don’t see any logical reason for Colmenares to insist on a personal appearance by Sereno.

Other than INCREASED MEDIA MILEAGE!
