6.4 PERCENT GDP GROWTH UNBELIEVABLE!

I find the supposed 6.4 percent growth in the gross domestic product (GDP) for the first quarter of the year as UNBELIEVABLE!

First and foremost: media cited a Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey just a few weeks ago that hunger was at an all-time high. How can this be if the economy is supposedly doing so well?

Second: Pnoy’s boys claimed that the GDP growth resulted in more than a million new jobs. Think about these, guys:

A quarter is composed of three months. Even f you fix the supposed number of new workers at one million, that would still mean approximately 333,333 monthly or 10,000 DAILY

But, AS ALWAYS, Pnoy’s boys DID NOT IDENTIFY even one of the companies who supposedly hired these new one million workers. Not even one name of a new employee.

You tell me, people: Have you heard or read of any long line of newly-opened firms, or HUGE EXPANSIONS of companies from January to March which could have recruited 10,000 workers daily?

I have not. Believe me, I will gladly come out with it if there’s any.

Third: Among the biggest factors cited by Pnoy’s boys for the GDP growth is massive government spending on infrastructure. But not even one infrastructure project was identified, not one new worker named.

Neither did I hear or read of any major infrastructure project BY Pnoy’s government which was started form January to March.. All I heard, and continue to hear and read, are the approval of this and that project, or the alleged allocation of so many billions of pesos for a particular undertaking.

Fourth: Cayetano Paderangga WOULD NOT HAVE RESIGNED as National Economic Development Authority (NEDA boss if he was doing such a good job with the economy.

He would have proudly announced his accomplishments himself to media early on for the entire Filipino race to know.

Fifth: The timing of the release to media of the supposed GDP growth is HIGHLY SUSPECT. It came just as the public clamor for Pnoy to sign a waiver for his bank accounts, as he had promised when he was campaigning for president, was GETTING LOUDER, and louder.
