THE TRUE SITUATION WE'RE IN, PEOPLE!

Let me give you a glimpse of the situation we’re in, boys and girls.

When former Chief Justice Renato Corona was impeached, practically all of the top branches and agencies of government ganged up on him – Malacanang, House of Representatives. Office of the Ombudsman, Department of Justice, Anti-Money Laundering Council, even yellow media.

But consider these:

The DISAPPEARANCE of 2,000 container vans of goods form the Bureau of Customs remains UNSOLVED. And we don’t hear of any continuing probe.

The AUTHENTICITY of travel documents used by Sen. Panfilo Lacson in returning from a year of hiding has NEVER BEEN INVESTIGATED. Instead, Lacson is being eyed this early for the VERY POWERFUL post of Interior and Local Government secretary.

BIR Commissioner Kim Henares being considered for Chief Justice post, despite FAILURE of her office to meet collection targets for the last three months and no track record of the required minimum 15 years of law practice.

The incidence of hunger has hit an all-time high, but there’s still NO CLEAR SOLUTION in sight.

There’s no convincing proof that Pnoy’s government is doing something to reduce the reported 900,000-HECTARE BACKLOG in the agrarian reform program.

Instead, Pnoy spent P87 million on a ONE-WEEK TRIP  to the United Kingdom and the US.

The shortage in classrooms and teachers is still in the TENS OF THOUSANDS but instead of spending for these, the Education department is splurging tens or hundreds of millions on adding another year to the elementary and higfh school level or Kplus 12.

Killers of the 19 soldiers MASSACRED in Basilan remain free. But the movement to which the suspects belong to. the Moro Islamic Liberation Front,  got P5 million from Pnoy.

Assistant Transportation Sec. Virginia Torresm shooting buddy of Pnoy, REMAINS UNTOUCHED AND UNPROBED, despite her alleged involvement in the illegal takeover of Stradcom.

The officials recommended for prosecution or disciplinary action following the massacre of tourists from Hong Kong last year are STILL IN THEIR POSTS and UNTOUCHED.

Pnoy continues to be DEAF, DUMB AND BLIND on jueteng, an ILLEGAL NUMBERS GAME since ht assumed office almost two years ago, as if it doesn’t exist.

Pnoy has NOT YET FULFILLED his 2010 promise of signing a waiver for his bank account.

I can go on but let me end this with one simple reminder for all  of you:

These HYPOCRISIES, IMMORALITIES and SELECTIVE DISPENSATION of justice are happening because WE ALLOW THEM TO. It’s up to us to end all these. 30
