THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DOLPHY AND CORONA!

There is a big, pathetic difference between Dolphy and former Chief Justice Renato Corona.

Presidential Spokesman Edwin Lacierda said Pnoy’s hands are tied in bestowing upon Dolphy the title of National Artist because there is a process to follow and a case on the conferment of the honor to other personalities is pending before the Supreme Court (SC).

Asked if Malacañang can help expedite the process, Lacierda said Pnoy does not want to politicize it.

As if the government is that PROFESSIONAL AND IMPARTIAL, despite the ballooning clamor for Dolphy, who is still fighting for his life, to be named National Artist.

Pag para kay Dolphy, may proseso.  Pero pag para kay Corona, WALANG PROSE-PROSESO. LAHAT PUWEDE. PERSONAL PA AT HAYAGAN ang suporta ni Pnoy.

Under the law, an impeachment complaint must have been read and understood by all the signatories first before they sign it.

A lot of signatories to the articles of impeachment against Corona eventually admitted that they did not read the complaint and just affixed their signatures.

But Malacanang DID NOT SAY ANYTHING about this SHAMELESS DISREGARD of the law. Not a single word to the House of Representatives to follow the rule in approving the articles of impeachment..

Lacierda says Malacañang recognizes and respects the process in selecting a national artist and is not part of it.

But during Corona’s impeachment trial Pnoy, Lacierda and his deputy Abigail Valte INSULTED AND DEMONIZED the accused Chief Justice and repeatedly declared him guilty in every affair, press conference or radio and TV show they can get into.

Even if officially, Malacanang was NOT PART of the House of Representatives which hauled Corona to the Senate Impeachment Court.

And neither Lacierda or Valte was a member of the House prosecution team.

Several times during the Corona impeachment, Pnoy and Lacierda described the prosecution’s evidence as solid or in other synonyms and they can’t see any reason for an acquittal.

But for Dolphy, Lacierda says the SC is surely aware of the comedy king’s condition and need not be reminded by Malacanang.

Quite clearly, compassion in an ALIEN WORD for Pnoy when it comes to Dolphy. What he obviously is aware of is the word HYPOCRISY.
