STOP THE HYPOCRISY ON MORALES, LACIERDA!

Presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda said in a press briefing Friday that there is no need for Malacañang to give any support to Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales on her upcoming testimony in the impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona.

I say PROVE IT! SHUT UP. Order your deputy, Abigail Valte, to DO THE SAME THING!

And see to it that NONE OF YOUR KNOWN ATTACK DOGS or sympathizers will appear again in media with new demonizing stuff against Corona until Monday, or until Morales testifies.

You people have been SUPPORTING Morales since her order to Corona to explain his supposedly undeclared $10 million savings, the very subject she will testify to, came out exclusively in a dfaily broadsheet.

Whether it’s inside or outside the Senate Impeachment Court, any form of support is always a support.

In that press briefing alone, guys, look at how Lacierda supported Morales, the VULGAR REASON being to make her appear convincing and righteous:

“I would assume that before she (Ombudsman) wrote the letter, there’s a basis for writing the Chief Justice that letter. And on account of that, how the Chief Justice should respond…“The Ombudsman is an independent branch (of government). She has her own powers; she has her own basis to secure information.“

After Morales’ order to Corona appeared in a daily broadsheet, Lacierda was quoted in the newspapers as saying: “At the very least, look at what we have discovered? Who knew he (had) $10 million?”

In the broadsheet story, Morales DID NOT GIVE ANY SPECIFICS on the alleged $10 million  But for Lacierda, the $10 million was already Gospel-truth!

God have mercy on the minds of those who will still say this is not a support for Morales from Lacierda.

If Lacierda or Valte won’t shut up and continue trying to make Morales as truthful and just on Corona’s alleged $10 million, it would be IDIOTIC for anyone to continue looking up to them as fair or impartial.

Have some shame, Lacierda! For your sake, and those of your loved ones, STOP THE HYPOCRISY.

Trillanes' reaction is an implied admission that he really is the person being referred to in the blind item. Why would you react or point out if in truth and in fact you are not guilty? We should not expect any fairness in (his) rendering judgment because he is involving himself and his own personal interest in the impeachment case. Why would he accuse pro Coronas in the first place or accuse corona of funding this alleged demolition job when he has no proof? Everything is all chismis again.

There is one difference between the media in the Philippines and in the US or Japan. In the US, when the media says a senator is having an affair with a prostitute, the senator could not be reached and when reached would deny it. The media would then show its evidence. The next time, the senator gets interviewed and resigns. If the American media man's proof turns out to be false, he resigns from his position and ceases to be a media man.  Here In the Philippines, when the media says Corona has 45 real properties costing P200M or has $10M, he does not resign, because he knows "it is still in the figment of the media's imagination. " If pressed, the media guy would say and/or do any of the following:  a)."Galit ka, so siguro tutuo," b) "Prove me wrong" c) "I need to release something in my newspaper"d) "It is freedom of the press and freedom of speech"  The reader would say "accused ka..o sigurado guilty ka. If "karma" is real, that should explain why our country is in a mess -- internally and externally with China, whom this administration had accused of having bribed CGMA for the ZTE something, and has not produced proof up to this time.30
