Civil society group “Kaya Natin”
convenor Harvey Keh presented to ABS-CBN News supposed summaries of bank
statements showing that Chief Justice Renato Corona has at least $2 million in
seven banks.
But just like the Philippine Daily
Inquirer and its story on Corona
Only two things can describe this
latest UNETHICAL gimmick by ABS-CBN – UNFAIR REPORTING at its finest and
PARANOIA, or delusion that the people are stupid enough to believe anything
they’ll say simply because they’re ABS-CBN.
You’re the IDIOTS, ABS-CBN, for
thinking that way! The people are fully aware that YOU’RE NOT, HAVE NEVER BEEN
and WILL NEVER be a voice of Gospel truth.
Offhand, I can think of three reasons
why ABS-CBN did not name the banks in Keh’s supposed summaries.
One is ABS-CBN is not sure of the
summaries’ authenticity.
(But take note, people, they still
reported the story PROMINENTLY both in TV Patrol and in their website. In TV
Patrol, they gave the story some three minutes or so of video footage, and only
less than a minute for Corona
Two, they know they will LOSE
CREDIBILITY and be the LAUGHING STOCK of the media industry if these turn out to
be FAKE and other media agencies find it out first before they do.
Three, the summaries are being used as
a leverage to PRESSURE the banks into cooperating with whatever anti-Corona
forces want regardless of whether or not
it’s illegal or immoral.
Look at how MALICIOUS the ABS-CBN story
is on Keh’s claims:
They reported and posted amounts cited
by Keh in the supposed summaries: a beginning balance of $379,500 in one bank
in January 2011 and withdrawals of $150,000, $250,000 and $300,000 in December
2011 in other accounts.
But the banks which supposedly held
these monies WERE NOT IDENTIFIED.
Being a former media man myself (senior
editor of the Journal Group of Publications), I can’t find any JUSTIFIABLE
REASON why anyway I look at it -- up and down, inside and out, left and right.
If anyone can give me a CONVINCING
JUSTIFICATION, I’ll come out with it in another blog. Just be sure it’s
convincing.
Keh also claimed he has the names of
some people who allegedly deposited money in Corona

And take note guys, Keh admitted that
he got the summaries from someone HE DOESN’T KNOW. The same script as that of
how the PS Bank signature cards of Corona

When you accuse someone, you have to support
it with solid facts and evidence. How come there has been no hard copy to
substantiate their claim of the $10 million? Neither has there been any witness
to claim that they saw $10 million in the name of the Chief Justice. How can
this government look credible in front of the international community when they
make up accusations based on nothing or hearsay and worst, it is headed by the
president of the country? i cannot fathom the fact that this leader wearing a
yellow pin can just do whatever he wants and his stupid followers just follow
suit without investigating and act as if they are so sure of their claim. This
is the height of stupidity and arrogance. And they want us to believe that they
are following the straight path to eradicate corruption. This is becoming too
ridiculous because even a grade 1 student can't understand where the $10
million is coming from. The unfairness and judgmental attitude of this
government is going to be its downfall because people are just so sick and
tired with the way Avnoy is governing this country!
