CORONA PANIC SPREADS TO MALACANANG!

It’s not only the prosecution panel in the impeachment trial but Malacanang, too, is RUNNING SCARED of the media blitz being conducted  by Chief Justice Renato Corona. 

This was shown by presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda in the HEARSAY and IRRATIONAL statements he made to reporters.

Lacierda denied that Pnoy had consulted Corona about the Truth Commission when they met in Malacanang in 2010.

But he admitted that he got the information from Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa, who was present during the meeting, Meaning, Lacierda had NO PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE of what Pnoy and Corona  had actually talked about.

That’s HEARSAY, by any and all standards.

Lacierda said Corona’s media blitz is doing the Chief Justice more harm than good and is working to their advantage.  He added that Corona’s  inconsistencies are now being noticed.

This is being IRRATIONAL OR ILLOGICAL TO THE MAX.

For the simple reason that you don’t REACT ADVERSELY to something that’s good for you. If you’re really getting something good out of it, you won’t disturb it in any manner that might make it stop or even slow down.

Lacierda said Corona wants to complicate and muddle the main issue.

Anybody correct me if I’m wrong but Corona NEVER SAID the meeting was connected to his impeachment by the House of Representatives. So to say that Corona is trying to muddle or complicate the issue is IRRATIONAL.

Lacierda said Pnoy’s perception on Corona worsened when the Supreme Court issued a temporary restraining order (TRO) on the implementation of a watch list order against former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

 He then changes this by singling out Corona as the one who had issued the TRO.

Ano ba talaga, Edwin?

It’s also public knowledge that a TRO is a collective decision by the Supreme Court, and not by one justice alone. Every COMPETENT lawyer knows that.

So it’s MALICIOUS, to say the least, for Lacierda to say that it was Corona who had come out with the TRO. Apart from being PATHETIC INCOMPETENCE for him to utter something totally contrary to law, which even non-lawyers like me know for a fact.

Anybody more sensible in Malacanang, please?

I salute Justice Corona for this bold and brave move. At least, nasabi na niya ang lahat ng gusto niyang sabihin bago siya mag-appear sa impeachment court (if this will push thru). Naunahan na niya ang mga halang na kaluluwang porksecutors na alam na alam natin na parang mga linta, ulupong, bwitre sa gagawin nilang pagsasamantala sa pagkakataon para wasakin, laitin, pahiyain, etc. etc. si Chief Justice Corona (for the nth time). Not to mention ang walang kamatayang grandstanding in aid of election/reelection! MGA WALANGHIYA KAYO!
