AUDIT FUNDS FROM OIL V.A.T., NOW!

Funds from the 12 percent value added tax (VAT) on oil MUST BE AUDITED! And I mean IMMEDIATELY!

We are getting conflicting versions from the government on where and how is it being spent. But still, nobody has given SPECIFIC DETAILS which can help reassure us taxpayers that the money is NOT BEING STOLEN.

Pnoy explained that the oil VAT pays for various social programs like the the Pantawid Pasada for jeepney and tricycle drivers. But he said it also subsidizes commuter fares of the Metro Rail and Light Rail Transit.

Several days ago, I remember deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte saying that the oil VAT is for the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s conditional cash transfer (CCT) program for the poor.

Ano ba talaga? PINAIIKOT TAYO nina Pnoy, mga kababayan!

Even if assuming that these programs are being funded by the oil VAT, take note people that NO ONE has given any BREAKDOWN for anything.

Nobody knows HOW MUCH has been spent on where or for whom. We, the taxpayers, HAVE NOT SEEN proof that the money is being spent LEGALLY
and for the right purpose or beneficiaries.

Only a CHOSEN FEW is aware of how much VAT is being collected from the oil companies and is the right amount being collected.

All we have is the government’s word, WITHOUT DETAILS.

Wala tayong KASEGURADUHAN, mga kababayan, na hindi KINUKURAKOT o BINUBULSA ang  oill VAT.

And yet, Pnoy HAS NO PLANS to lift or even temporarily suspend it  despite the HARDSHIPS brought about by the NON-STOP oil price increases, llike higher jeepney fares and prices of basic commodities.

Remember guys, we’re talking of approximately P2 billion in oil VAT monthly.

Pera nating sambayanan iyan. Pero hindi natin alam kung saan napupunta. TAYO ANG NAHIHIRAPAN, HINDI SI PNOY, at lalong HINDI ang mga oil companies.

If we don’t unite and let our voices BOOM as one, don’t expect Pnoy or anyone else in government to give a daman to what we’re going through, and will still go through.

I sure hope somebody from the Commission on Audit, or even one senator or congressman, will get to read this piece.

ALON VALDEZ
Maybe the non-prosecutors would also like themselves to be in the limelight...para magkaroon din ng pabor kay Noynoy. Mabgyan ba naman ng posisyon sa gobyerno ang kapatid o tatay mo, aayaw ka ba doon?

ARNEL LANGIT of Heraldion, Greece
Are we expecting an acquittal? I don’t think so. Mabigat ang kalaban natin, with Drilon, Osmena and company around.

It may also mean that Abnoy has 188 more spokesmen and spokeswomen courtesy of the House of misrepresentatives whose main purpose is to assassinate the characters of all those who are against the will, the whims and caprices of the dictator.

Pulse Asia has no more credibility. The manner by which the survey was undertaken revealed their obvious biases. What a pity!

PRIMO CRISOSTOMO of Farmville,Virginia, USA
They MUST change their name to FALSE ASIA because they are always DECEIVING the people by giving false surveys. 30
