MALACANANG'S HYPOCRISY IN CORONA IMPEACHMENT!

Malacanang’s HYPOCRISY in the impeachment case of Chief Justice Renato Corona is CRYSTAL CLEAR.

Malacanang had pledged not to interfere in the impeachment case.  

But until last Friday, Malacanang officials led by Budget Sec. Butch Abad were commenting on the salary of Corona as Chief Justice in relation to his expensive condominium unit.  

Add to this the almost daily press releases Malacanang has been coming out with on anything that can be linked to Corona’s impeachment, like the submission of statements of assets, liabilities and net worth by two Supreme Court justices.

If this isn’t interference through mind conditioning or ‘brainwashing,’ we are in DESPERATE NEED of a new dictionary, boys and girls. Noah Webster must be turning in his grave.

Only a fanatic of Pnoy would view this otherwise!

Malacanang is only showing, SHAMELESSLY, that it is NOT CONFIDENT Corona will be convicted. That means they’re NOT CONVINCED of the strength of the evidence against Corona, and the COMPETENCE of the prosecutors in winning the case.

So they have to BRAINWASH US, they have to MANIPULATE OUR MINDS ROUND-THE-CLOCK with anything and everything for us to do whatever  dirty job is necessary for them in the event Coro0na is acquitted.

For our sake, people, DON’T ALLOW Malacanang to BRAINWASH us.

If they don’t find the evidence against Corona strong enough and the prosecutors good enough to win, that’s THEIR PROBLEM NOT OURS! We don’t need to do their work, to serve them.

It’s them who should serve us.

For the record, I am not defending Corona. I am not saying, and will never say, that he is innocent. I am for due process.

Let’s all monitor the impeachment trial VERY, VERY CLOSELY!  Let’s all LISTEN TO BOTH SIDES amd judge for ourselves BASED ON EVIDENCE to be presented.

Not on what has been forcibly hammered into our minds by anyone.

And we had better start asking Malacanang about its plans or solutions to hunger, poverty, unemployment and other VERY URGENT needs of our people.

Instead of feeding us day in and day out with NOTHING BUT POLITICS and issues which are good only for their vested interests.

What can we expect from Trillianes but a vote convicting Chief Justice Corona? For him,, Corona is just as evil as ex-president Gloria who jailed him for several years. It's a good thing the Senate is not solely Trillianes' camp. There will be senators who will remain impartial and let reason rule over the proceedings and not cower before the man on the throne  in  Malacañang.

I beg to disagree. Trillanes is correct. Impeachment is not a legal action but a political process. That is why it is lodged before  Congress and not in any judicial body. It is a remedy for the people, through their elected representatives and senators, to remove from office, certain officials who, by the very nature of their office, are otherwise secured from any administrative or criminal prosecution.
