EVIL SCHEME BEHIND PNOY'S PRIVATIZATION BID!

It’s getting clearer – somebody wants to IMMORALLY EARN BILLIONS, whether in pesos or dollars – on the Mindanao power crisis.

Pnoy has reiterated his desire to privatize  the Agus-Pulangi power plants, run by the National Power Corp., to make them more competitive.

But Davao del Norte Gov. Rodolfo del Rosario cited National Power Corp. (Napocor) records that the Agus-Pulangi hydropower complex has been grossing P12.3 billion annually, which could finance its rehabilitation to full capacity.

If anybody will defend Pnoy, better have the answers to these questions:

Is P12.3 billon NOT ENOUGH to rehabilitate the complex, whether in one massive job or phase by phase? If no, why? Be sure to have a breakdown of the costs.

If it is enough, then why not have it rehabilitated? What makes rehabilitation an impractical solution? Who, if any, is opposing it and what’s the basis, besides the DESIRE OF PNOY to sell the hydropower complex?

Keeping the Agus-Pulangui hydropower complex would maintain power rates at low levels in Mindanao.

But Pnoy still wants to sell it and ADD A HEAVY BURDEN to the people with the higher electricity costs which will follow privatization.

What the hell could be MORE IMPORTANT for Pnoy than keeping power rates low in Mindanao and sparing Mindanaoans from added burdens?

Anyway you look at it, P12.3 billion is P12.3 billion, especially for a HEAVILY-INDEBTED government like Pnoy’s. But surprisingly, he doesn’t seem to give a damn about losing that much money yearly through privatization.

What could be more rewarding for the government than the P12.3 billion FIXED INCOME YEARLY by Agus-Pulangui? Who advised the sale in the first place and where has the P12.3 billion been going?

Low power rates benefit THE TENS OF MILLIONS of our brothers and sister in Mindanao. Privatization only benefits  the few BILLIONAIRE INVESTORS who can afford it.

Clearly, Pnoy’s on the side of the billionaires, and not on the public which he is DUTY-BOUND to protect. Why? Your guess is as good as mine!

And before I forget, for your info guys, reports say most parts of Mindanao are already experiencing up to eight hours of brownouts for the last two months.

Boyet, magsulat ka na lang ng opinion mo, huwag mo nang intrigahin ang kapwa mo journalists. Hindi na journalism ang sa iyo.

JILLJACK CAMACHO
Every Filipino citizen is responsible to inform each other about what is going on inside and outside of our country, whether it is good news or bad news, so proceed,  Boyet.

NIYONG GONZALES of Iloilo Ciy
Just go on, Boyet...keep us informed about klepto

FREDERICK AGBAYANI
That’s the problem with Philippine society nowadays... they cannot distinguish fact from intrigue... because they have been fed by media with intrigues day by day and as the saying goes when it is repeated over and over again, it  becomes a fact in a non=thinking mind. TULOY MO LANG YAN, BOYET... MAS MADAMI PA DIN ANG NAGIIISIP NA PILIPINO.

FE ALBUROI
I heard from one news anchor of DZRH  that this Raissa Robles got involved in shoplifting in a mall. "Ang Sinungaling ay Kapatid ng Magnanakaw." Wala siya kahit konting kredibilidad.

PNOY BLACKMAILING MINDANAOANS, PROTECTING INCOMPETENTS!

LILIAN PRESTOZA
Just goes to show the callousness of this administration. Pnoy, during the energy summit in Mindanao. said that you either pay more for electricity or face rotating brownouts! Tell me, my fellow taga Moncada, what choice did he offer to the people of Mindanao?? In due time, Luzonians will have to brace themselves as well .....for going back to the dark ages.

PH SINKING DEEPER INTO DEBT UNDER PNOY!

RICKY MATIAS of Omaha, Nebraska, USA
This is what we are thinking which is good for the country. Criticize the President so that he can wake up and do better. 30
