DIRTY TRICKS TIME FOR THE PROSECUTION!

DIRTY TRICKS time for the prosecution in the impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona.

A documentary evidence borrowed by the prosecution from the defense has DISAPPEARED.

One of the private prosecutors, Jose Justiniano, admitted having borrowed the document, a handwritten letter-acknowledgment of Corona’s wife Cristina pertaining to the seven titles of lands in Marikina which she sold to the Chief Justice’s cousin, Demetriou Vicente.

But he did not return it, and has not returned it as of the second break of the trial today.

I’m saying that it’s a dirty trick because Justiniano could have had the document photocopied and returned immediately. It would have taken only a few minutes.

If not photocopied, Justiniano could have asked the prosecution’s staff to copy the details he needed and return the document pronto.

But he did not.

When confronted by Senate President and presiding impeachment court judge Juan Ponce Enrile, Justiniano replied he did not notice Mrs. Corona’s letter when he borrowed a bunch of documents from the defense team.

But Enrile immediately countered: “I saw them being transferred to you,” leaving Justiniano dumbfounded before asking for time t look for the document.

BISTADO NA, LULUSOT PA!

Whether the document is returned or not, there are now a million and one possibilities on what  effect  will the disappearance of the document have on the trial.

One thing for sure, the prosecution isn’t playing as FAIRLY and CLEANLY as it should. 

Unless it will admit to DESPICABLE INCOMPETENCE by Justiniano of the document, or will dare say that Justiniano is telling the truth and Enrile is lying.

How easily have we judged a person who any of us can never become even in three lifetimes. Just because we don't agree with the person and his views doesn't mean he is bad. I just hope everyone understands that the impeachment procedure is a political perversion and not a cleansing process we hope it is going to turn out.
