ANTI-CORONAS MAKING IDIOTS OUT OF US!

How pathetic that anti-Corona groups DESPERATELY want to make IDIOTS out of us again with the supposed 82 dollar accounts of Chief Justice Renato Corona allegedly containing $10 million or more!

First: If he indeed has millions of dollars in dirty money, Corona is NOT STUPID to hide it in his name and in 82 bank accounts.

Why would he leave any paper trail or evidence and risk criminal prosecution?

Second: Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales admitted that she can’t authenticate the documents given her by the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) on the alleged $10 million or more of Corona.

Morales also admitted that NO VERIFICATION whatsoever was made by her office on the truth and accuracy of the documents’ contents.

Therefore, everything she said about the contents was ONLY HER CONCLUSION OR INTERPRETATION, and NOT FACTS or ESTABLSIJED TRUTH.

Third: Morales did not present the person who prepared the documents, or any AMLC  official who can declare, under oath, that these are certified true copies and the contents are true.

That leaves her as the ONLY ONE who says the documents are genuine and accurate. As I’ve written in my preceding blog, Morales’ word IS NOT GOSPEL TRUTH!

Let me also repeat that Morales admitted that the AMLC documents were only ELECTRONICALLY-GENERATED copies from the agency’s databank.

Don’t forget the LIE of the prosecution on Corona’s alleged 45 properties, which all came from electronically-generated listings from the databank of the Land Registration Authority.

From 45, the prosecution reduced the number of properties to 21, and still decreasing.

But despite these deficiencies, anti-Corona factions are already conditioning the public mind through media that the AMLC documents and the contents are genuine and correct.

Chief prosecution spokesman Rep. Miro Quimbo of Marikina, said Morales’ statements cannot be classified as hearsay because they were based on a

Prosecution spokesman and Quezon Rep. Erin Tañada said as far as they’re concerned, Corona owns the millions of dollars testified to by Morales.

Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. and House Majority Leader Neptali Gonzales II said due to Morales’ testimony, the “end game” of the impeachment trial is near.

In an obvious attempt to condition the public mind, Gonzales added that “because of the Ombudsman’s revelation, it will be extremely difficult for any senator to acquit him (Corona).

Kung hindi PAKAPALAN NG MUKHA at WALANGHIYAAN ang tawag dito, I wil welcome more appropriate adjectives.

Just keep this in mind: Anyone who believes in UNVERIFIED ALLEGATIONS is WORSE than the LIAR and the RUMOR-MONGER!

Hi, Boyet! Morales may not have proven her case but she just did major, major damage to the CJ's case. Allow me to explain. This is one of the legal tricks employed by lawyers for jury trial - they mention a half truth but with the implication that the accused may or may not have done something illegal, therefore a seed is planted that the accused is less than honorable. This somehow sticks to the minds of the jurors and may work against the accused in the deliberations. In this particular case, she did a lot of damage in the court of public opinion. God knows there are so many financial scandals that have hit our financial systems wherein the money trail went cold. The Defense team led by the Old Fox Cuevas now face an even bigger obstacle than before - how do you go up against a ghost?... The only way out here is to EXPOSE THE CONSPIRACY AGAINST THE CJ AND PROVE THE MASTERMIND IS THE CURRENT RESIDENT OF THE PALACE BY RIVER. Easier said than done. Otherwise, even if the CJ gets acquitted by the Impeachment court, it will be a phyrric victory - he may have to resign to avoid damaging the institution he loves and has honorably served. I just hope Morales and her cohorts get their comeuppance in this life or the next.
