LATEST ANTI-CORONA INTRIGUE!

It’s blogger Raissa Robles’ turn to DEMONIZE  Chief Justice Renato Corona with her latest, and even if I hate to say this MALICIOUS and HYPOCRITICAL, blog.

Robles posted that US public records show a certain "Renato C. Corona" as being linked to a property each in Bayshore, Tampa, Florida and Mountain View, California.

She said "Renato C. Corona" is 63 years old, the same age as the Chief Justice, and had Charina, Cristina, Carla and Francis Corona as "possible relatives,” the same names of the chief magistrate's wife and three children.

Now, why do I say the blog is MALICIOUS?

The blog DID NOT CITE any illegal act by Corona.  But still, she posted the blog, knowing FULLY WELL (she’s a STUPID LIAR if she’ll say she never thought of it) that it will cast new clouds of doubt on the reputation of Corona.

Why do I say it’s HYPOCRITICAL?

Even a high school kid will immediately realize that the blog’s true message is Corona owns the US properties. The “Renato C. Corona” is the same age as the Chief Justice and the listed relatives were namesakes of his wife and kids.

But still, Robles had the nerve to play safe.

She used the word “link” instead of owns in the first paragraph of the blog. But in another paragraphs, she writes the emphasizes the word owns with all capital letters in clarifying that: "No, I’m not saying that CJ Corona OWNS Bayshore or has a house in Mountain View. Heavens, no."

Hindi naman pala kayang PANINDIGAN, gagawa-gawa pa ng INTRIGA. At imbes na siya ang magpatunay dahil siya ang sumulat at nagpost, gusto  pa yata tayo pa ang tumuklas ng katothanan. Masyadong SINUSUWERTE!

In a vulgar attempt to add credibility to her blog, Robles said a certain "Buddy Gomez" informed her of his similar curiosity.

One of the very first appointees of President Aquino’s mom Cory after she became president was TOMAS “BUDDY’ GOMEZ (as press secretary if I remember correctly).

But instead of strengthening Robles’ blog, Gomez informed her that  the Coronas DO NOT HAVE properties registered under their names in the said areas in the US.

Gomez claimed that "Renato C. Corona" has lived in the Florida property.

But a commenter who identified herself only as Masha said she checked with the Hillsborough County appraiser website and discovered that the registered owner of the Florida property is one Venerando Batas.

Masha’s comment shows that Robles DID NOT RESEARCH EXTENSIVELY, as she should have done, when she posted the blog.

I’m not clearing Corona, let it be for the record. What I’m saying is it’s GROSSLY UNFAIR to continue pulverizing his honor with UNPROVEN INSINUTATIONS.

Wala dapat INTRIGERO o INTRIGERA, TSISMOSO o TSISMOSA! As I’ve said a lot of times, whether anybody likes it or not, Corona is entitled to FAIR PLAY!  That’s UNCONDITIONAL!

WHY CORONA PROSECUTORS SHOULD APOLOGIZE!!

It’s both amazing and DESPICABLE how the prosecution in the impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona can continue NOT APOLOGIZING to him for initially claiming in media that he had 45 properties.

Only to reduce it later to 21 (so far), IN AGREEMENT with his lawyers.

Since the prosecution publicly announced the 45 properties in a press conference before the trial, they should apologize to Corona in a similar setting.

To not apologize and toss the blame instead to the Land Registration Authority (LRA), which was the source of the properties’ titles, would be the HEIGHT OF ARROGANCE and STUPIDITY.

It was the prosecution who announced the purported 45 Corona properties to media, NOT THE LRA!

It was the prosecution who rammed that LIE into the public mind. It was them who used that lie as one of the grounds to drag Corona into the Senate Impeachment Court. NOT THE LRA!

Being lawyers and congressmen, they’re supposed to be SMART GUYS so it’ was DISGUSTING, if not IDOTIC, for them not to take a second look at the titles before revealing these.

And destroying Corona’s reputation in the process!

Had the LRA been the one who revealed the supposed 45 properties, then it’s the one who owes the Chief Justice an apology.

Most of all the impeachment trial, and the demonizing of Corona in media, had been going on for several days before they finally manifested that they’re reducing the number of properties to 21.

If the prosecution will apologize to Corona, people. I will be among the first to salute them

If they won’t, it will be an ASSURANCE that they‘re MALICIOUS, UNFAIR and not the HONORABLE GENTLEMEN they’re supposed to be, especially the congressmen among them.

To the AMATEURS in the anti-Corona propaganda group:

Sige lang, Ipagpatuloy ninyo ang GARAPAL ninyong style. Para talagang MATAUHAN na ang taumbayan na gusto lamang ninyong IKONDISYON ang mga isip namin na dapat mawala na talaga si Chief Justice Renato Corona.

Pero ibahin man ninyo ang style o hindi, sabi nga sa isang lumang commercial, KITANG KITA NA ANG IBIDINSIYA!

I’m not talking about Pulse Asia alone. I’m talking about EVERYBODY!

Barely a day after coming out with a purported Pulse Asia survey supposedly showing that 47 percent of the people believe Corona is guilty, here you are now with another survey by the same firm claiming that 58 percent of Filipinos disapprove of his performance.

This purportedly new survey also claims Corona's distrust rating worsened from 27 percent to 60 percent while those undecided decreased from 43 percent to 29 percent.

But just like your preceding survey on the supposed 47 percent who believe Corona is guilty, there are:
NO NAMES of even a few of the supposed 1,200 respondents. NO SPECIFIC PLACES where the respondents were interviewed. NO EXPLANATION on how 1,200 people can represent the sentiment of 58 percent, or more than 50 million, of the 94 million Filipinos.

In other words, NOT A SINGLE PROOF that can give even an IOTA of TRUTH AND ACCURACY to your survey.

NOTHING WHATSOEVER to guarantee that the respondents, if indeed there were any, were only your families or relatives, or members of the Aquino-Cojuangco clan and their employees or workers and other allied groups.

In other words, this new survey is just ANOTHER LITANY of NUMBERS that even professionals but non-pollsters can write about straight from the mind within minutes or hours at any given time.

HINDI BOBO ang sambayanan para mapaniwala ninyo sa mga numero lang. Wala tayo sa stock market, supermarket, Divisoria, bingo hall, casino o iba pang lugar na kung saan numero ang  pinaguusapan.

Especially with the LOUSY SENSE OF TIMING you’re showing in coming out with your anti-Corona propaganda in media.

Lo and behold, your surveys and press statements are pouring in media just in time for the presentation of Corona’s evidence by his lawyers, and the DEMOLITION one by one of the articles of impeachment against him.

Oh, and before I forget guys (whoever you are), majority of the people are already aware that Pulse Asia  is owned and controlled by RELATIVES and CRONIES of President Aquino, the number one critic of Corona.

Try looking for and enrolling in a seminar on SUBTLETY, ladies and gentlemen.. You need it, VERY BADLY!

The entire testimony of Atienza is immaterial as it fails to establish that the money is not Mrs. Corona's. It is immaterial for the defense. The defense claims that Mrs. Corona just received the money in behalf of the company, but the witness fails to prove this. For whatever it’s worth, the witness puts the defense in further trouble as his testimony only reveals that the company allegedly represented by Mrs. Corona has long been abolished for some discrepancies. Thus, that company didn't exist when the purchase of the land was made.

CORONA GAINING UPPER HAND!

Whether or not the prosecution and pro-Pnoy legions admit it, Chief Justice Renato Corona is slowly but steadily getting the upper hand in his impeachment trial.

Former Manila Mayor Lito Atienza testified to the authenticity of documents showing that  Corona’s wife Cristina was authorized  by  a corporation owned by her family to negotiate  the sale of and accept the payment for a P34- million the firm owned in Sampaloc, Manila.

Corona had alleged that the P11-million loan that he had declared in his statement of asset, liabilities, and net worth (SALN) for the  purchase of a property in La Vista,  Quezon City came from the sake.

As I was writing this piece, Atienza was being asked by some senators on what they find as questionable in the sale. But Senate President and Presiding Judge Juan Ponce Enrile himself pointed out that it was IMMATERIAL to the impeachment case against Corona.

Earlier, the Supreme Court , voting 7-2, absolved Corona of any  wrongdoing in the recall of the Supreme Court’s Sept. 7, 2011, decision declaring with finality the illegal retrenchment by Philippine Air Lines (PAL) of 1,400 members of the Flight Attendants and Stewards Association of the Philippines (FASAP).

The case was one of the grounds for Corona’s impeachment for culpable violation of the Constitution and betrayal of public trust.

The Supreme Court said it had made the recall on its own and Corona had inhibited himself from the case. It added that Corona had “acted only on the recommendation of the ruling division.”

In the midst of all these, the number of properties allegedly owned by Corona is down from the initial 45 boasted of by the prosecution to 21.

As some senator-judges themselves pointed out, the 21 would still be reduced if the defense further proves that most of the properties don’t belong to the Chief Justice and as such, need not be declared in his statement of assets, liabilities and net worth (SALN)

Like properties belonging to Corona’s children above 18 years old, which he didn’t need to declare under the law.

I’m not saying that Corona has won.

What I’m saying is so far, the defense has been consistently presenting convincing evidence disproving the articles of impeachment against Corona.

And the Supreme Court decision clearing the Chief Justice of any wrongful act in the FASAP case practically eliminates one of the three remaining articles.

It’s not over yet. But believe me. people, we can expect A LOT and ALL KINDS of BLACK PROPAGANDA and MIND-CONDITIONING efforts for our PREMATURE conviction of Corona.

HUWAG TAYONG PALOLOKO! ANG MANLOLOKO, KAPATID NG DEMONYO.

Diaz is covering up for something. Recall Tupas' declaration that the list of 45 properties did not come from the prosecution but from the LRA. Now, Diaz is stating that Tupas called him up, requesting for the list. He (Diaz) did not have the list ready when the request was made, then flip flops and says he had the list ready even before the request was made because the media was also asking for the list. Someone is involved here.

My take on this Diaz is that he did not expect, nor did the prosecution, that the trial will go to this length and thought all the while that the CJ will resign after showing these kind of evidences. DIAZ HAD BETTER TELL THE TRUTH!

Land Registration Authority (LRA) administrator Eulalio Diaz III had better tell the truth if he wants to save whatever credibility he has left, and spare his family and loved ones from scorn and social isolation in the process.

The CONFLICTING and ILLOGICAL statements he gave in his testimony before the Senate Impeachment Court totally DEFIES COMMON SENSE and is entirely UNACCEPTABLE from a man of his position and profession.

He had better realize that ONLY HIS REPUTATION, and NO ONE ELSE’S, will be destroyed if he sticks to his declarations.

Among others: Diaz said he knew that Chief Justice Renato Corona had been already impeached when the documents for the 45 properties supposedly owned by the latter were requested by the House prosecution panel.

But as it turned out, Diaz DID NOT REVIEW the names of the registered owners of the 45 properties to be 100 percent sure that all these were registered to Corona or his wife Cristina.

I asked my nephew who’s in second year high school for comment. Without thinking, my nephew replied he would double-check the document s first before releasing these to anybody.

In a CHEAP and DESPERATE ATTEMPT to justify his act, Diaz claimed he had been of the impression that “these are documents that they (prosecution) may use for their research.”

So which is which, Mr. Diaz:

You’re NOT SMART ENOUGH as a lawyer to realize that the documents will be used as evidence, the requesting party being prosecutors in the Corona impeachment case?

Or you’re as NAIVE as a grade-school boy to have thought about it, and had idolized the prosecution to the point of looking up to them as ABSOLUTELY FAULTLESS in character?

Diaz told Senator-Judge Loren Legarda that it took him two to three days to come up with the two-page list of the 45 properties for the House prosecution panel.

But when asked by Presiding Senator-Judge Juan Ponce Enrile, Diaz said the list was already available even before the prosecution requested for it.

Why didn’t he release it to the media if it was reporters who requested for copies first? What or who made him wait? I’m a former media man so let me guess, people:

Diaz was instructed by his superiors to release the list FIRST to the prosecution. So that the prosecution would have a more earthshaking story in the press conference they held days before the trial began.

If he knows what’s good for him and his family, Diaz had better clarify his statements and come up with the TRUTH, fast. His family and loved ones need not suffer anything, for the sake of anyone.
