TO PNOY, LACIERDA, NAVARRO: SHUT UP!

To all those calling on the Senate to defy the Supreme Court temporary restraining order (TRO) on the subpoena for the records of the dollar accounts of Chief Justice Renato Corona with PSBank, SHUT UP!

Most especially Pnoy, presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda,  congressmen-prosecutors and has-been singer Leah Navarro.

Even a high school kid will understand that the matter is now strictly between the Senate as the impeachment court and the Supreme Court.

Not among or between anyone of you!

Meaning, NONE OF YOU HAS ANY BUSINESS in settling the issue.  And I’ll bet 100 to 1 the Supreme Court justices and the senator judges are A LOT SMARTER than anyone or all of you.

They don’t need your inflammatory opinions or proposals. So stop making them look like idiots or grade-schoolers in need of your SELF-SERVING pronouncements before settling the issue.

And here’s hoping you still all have some decency left that you won’t have the face to insist on your clamor as the call of the Filipino people, or for justice or truth.

ADOBE SA KAPAL ANG MUKHA ng magpupumilit noon.

The various surveys, rallies and declarations of support for Corona clearly show that Pnoy or the prosecution DOES NOT HAVE the support of the majority of the people for the impeachment.

So Pnoy and his puppets had better stop thinking that they can brainwash the people to their favor with non-stop bombardment by biased media of their misleading statements.

The Senate Impeachment Court is the ONLY ONE who can decide on Corona’s fate. NOT ONE OR ALL OF YOU! It’s the Senate Impeachment Court who will determine what’s the truth and just. NO ONE ELSE WILL.

So for those who will insist on the Senate’s DISREGARD of the Supreme Court, just be sure of two things: you will ASSUME FULL  RESPONSIBILITY,  and WON’T HIDE and be ON THE FRONTLINE,  if  pro  and anti-Corona factions settle the issue among themselves through riots and chaos on the streets.

SIGURADUHIN LANG NINYO NA HINDI KAYOI SANG TAMBAK NA MGA DUWAG!

GANITO KAKAPAL ANG MUKHA NI PNOY!

Ganito KAKAPAL ang mukha  ni Pnoy.

In warning the Supreme Court against setting a bad precedent in issuing a temporary restraining order (TRO) stopping the opening of Chief Justice Renato Corona’s dollar accounts, Pnoy said the country must not be a refuge for thieves and money launderers.

Meaning, as far as Pnoy’s concerned, Corona is a thief and money launderer since he was the beneficiary of the TRO.

Even if the case HAS NOT BEEN DECIDED YET by the Senate Impeachment Court, whom his own boys like spokesman Edwin Lacierda say has the SOLE JURISDICTION of Corona’s impeachment.

SOLE JURISDICTION, meaning not even Pnoy or Malacanang can acquit or convict Corona.

And regardless if the defense HAS NOT YET PRESENTED their witnesses and evidence, which is an undisputable RIGHT of any accused individual. For Pnoy, Corona’s guilty, period. No need for a fair trial.

The trademark of a DICTATOR. I thought we live in a democracy.

Trying to justify his statements, Pnoy said the Philippines was a signatory to international treaties against money laundering, and that the TRO might result in sanctions from the world financial community.

But he DID NOT IDENTIFY even one treaty or possible sanction.

In a PATHETIC display of his IGNORANCE of the law, Aquino said the Supreme Court held no oral arguments to hear the government’s side and allow the Senate and the House of Representatives to appeal.

When even non-lawyers know that a TRO must be issued FIRST before arguments on and appeals against it are heard.

And in a DANGEROUS OMEN of the kind of justice Pnoy has in mind, Pnoy said “in a democracy, the majority makes the decision for everybody.”

The majority, not the judge.

Not WHAT THE LAW SAYS, not what the evidence reveals. So for Pnoy, even if the majority public sentiment against an accused is contrary to law and to proof, the accused is guilty, period.

So that’s why Pnoy, Lacierda and his deputy Abigail Valte, the congressmen prosecutors, their attack dogs  like Leah Navarro and their media cohorts like ABS-CBN see to it that they won’t run out of things to say against Corona.

Whether or not it’s related to the impeachment trial, or is a lie or a fact.

Like the supposed 45 properties owned by Corona which the prosecution declared in a press conference before the trial commenced, and reduced to 21 by themselves after more than a week in the impeachment court

IT'S US, NOT PNOY, who will lose our rights  if we tolerate this DICTATORIAL ATTITUDE. For our own sake, consider this, VERY VERY CAREFULLY! 30

QUIMBO'S BRAINWASHING TO THE MAX!

This is BRAINWASHING AND ARROGANCE TO THE MAX by the prosecution in the impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona.

Prosecution spokesman Marikina Rep. Romero Quimbo said Corona’s foreign currency deposits at PSBank could have sealed the Chief Justice’s fate had a temporary restraining order (TRO) not been issued by the Supreme Court.

Suddenly, he’s a JUDGE too and not just a prosecutor.

A judge deciding the case on his own and announcing it publicly in a vulgar attempt to CONDITION THE MIND of the public, and  PREEMPTING the Senate Impeachment Court based ONLY ON THEIR OWN EVIDENCE.

O, ha, mas mabilis pa siya’t mas magaling sa Senado, at sa mga Supreme Court justices.

Quimbo had the stomach to say that “the Supreme Court showed its readiness to rescue the Chief Justice from a judgment of conviction,” even if the Senate itself will go through the due process of formally questioning the TRO, first.

And the defense HAS NOT YET PRESENTED THEIR WITNESSES AND EVIDENCE, a universal requirement in ANY TRIAL before judgment is rendered.

Quimbo also told media people despite earlier setbacks, the prosecution had built a case with “clear and convincing evidence” in a span of four weeks.

So, it’s the prosecution who decides now on how clear and convincing their evidence is, no longer the senator-judges.

Even if Sen. Jinggoy Estrada himself said he and his colleagues were beginning to have doubts on the authenticity of Corona’s supposed PS bank records.

For those who don’t know it, Estrada had noted that one document showed Corona supposedly with “$700k” in deposits.

But PSBank president Pascual Garcia said Thursday IT WAS NOT  standard practice for bank employees to write “k” to indicate “thousands” in currency.

Estrada had also said Garcia noted “differences” in the photocopies of documents submitted to the impeachment court and genuine documents that depositors accomplish in opening an account.

This is clear and convincing evidence, Quimbo version.

As I’ve said before, ladies and gentlemen, let’s LISTEN TO BOTH SIDES FIRST before we judge on our own.

Let’s LOOK HARD AND EVALUATE THOROUGHLY everything which will be presented by BOTH SIDES from all angles, not just from ONE point of view.

Be influenced by HARD FACTS from both the prosecution and the defense, not just by the SELF-SERVING AND REPEATED pronouncements of one side and their supporters.

Especially if the supporters HAVE NOTHING TO DO with the impeachment trial or are NON-LAWYERS pretending to be masters of law.

The TRO is now STRICLY a matter between the Senate and the Supreme Court. Nobody else is involved, not even Pnoy.

If there will be no compromise, as Sen. Miriam Santiago warns, “that will result in a stalemate. It will have to be decided on the streets because there’s nobody else that will make the decision.”

So if you’ll BLINDLY FOLLOW one side, just be sure you’re ready if TROUBLE ERUPTS!

OIL FIRMS ARE GODS TO PNOY!

Since oil prices were raised days ago, I have been hearing and receiving a lot of complaints that Pnoy DOESN’T GIVE A DAMN to the HARDSHIPS oil companies impose upon the people.

Come to think of it, what the hell has he done anyway?

The only measure I have heard from Malacanang regarding oil price increases is there’s a multi-sector audit committee for oil firms which was scheduled to start working last Feb. 1.

But it’s been 12 days now and I have yet to come across even one news item about it – among others, who are the members,  what have they done so far, where are they based,  how much is their budget.

Otherwise, Pnoy won’t even order a probe of the endless price increases of oil companies.

Sure, prices go down every now and then but if you’ll look at the decrease. It’s not even half of the preceding increase. As if we’re stupid enough not to notice this.

Whenever the public expresses rage over excessive and seemingly unjustified price increases, Pnoy;s government immediately comes out with a press release that an investigation will be conducted.

I haven’t heard of one. Anybody correct me if I’m wrong.

I don’t know of even one dialogue arranged by Pnopy’s boys between oil companies and public sector representatives.

Not once have the oil firms been pressured by Pnoy’s government to open their books of accounts for both government and public scrutiny.

There have been repeated calls for a SERIOUS, THOROUGH REVIEW of the Oil Deregulation Law but Pnoy rejected this outright without public consultation.

Bottom line, oil firms can raise prices ANYTIME THEY WANT with the MOST ABSURD EXCUSE thy can think of, if any.

But if it’s the people who’ll ask for pay increases to cope with higher prices usually triggered by oil price hikes, a thousand and one processes will have to be conducted first.

I’m not anti-business, I’ll never be.

I simply find it UNACCEPTABLE that it’s only us, the people, who have to SUFFER and SACRIFICE.

As if ONLY the oil companies have the RIGHT TO EARN comfortably (SILA LANG ANG MAY KARAPATANG MABUHAY), and we have to bear anything necessary to keep it that way.

I’ve asked this before and I’ll ask it again: Can anyone honestly say that the quality of life, and governance, have improved since Pnoy became president.?

TAKUTAN NA ANG LABAN SA IMPEACHMENT!

TAKUTAN NA ANG LABAN sa Corona  impeachment!

Following the Supreme Court’s temporary restraining order (TRO) against the subpoena to PS Bank for the supposed dollar accounts of Corona, prosecutor Ilocos Norte Rep. Rudy Farinas said he will file an impeachment complaint against the justices who voted for the TRO.

Prosecution spokesman Marikina Rep. Miro Quimbo said they would support the move of Farinas. Commenting on the possibility of a constitutional crisis, Quimbo arrogantly added “The Supreme Court brought it upon themselves.”

NO CLARIFICATIONS, NO DIALOGUES, nothing whatsoever.

Instead of first exploring all possible remedies, Farinas and Quimbo would rather do another Corona. As if they’re telling the justices who voted against the subpoena “Allow the subpoena or prepare for trouble.”

It seems Farinas and Quimbo don’t take ‘no’ for an answer whenever they want something.

Their declarations would have been alright if Farinas and Quimbo are acknowledged top guns when it comes to law who can spar anytime with any justice of the Supreme Court.

But as far as I know, they’re not.  Anybody correct me if I’m wrong.

I remember Farinas being in the top 10 when he passed the bar exams. But again, I don’t recall him having spent a good number of years as a judge recognized for his intellect and wisdom.

Again, anybody correct me if I’m wrong.

So think hard, ladies and gentlemen: If Farinas and Quimbo can think and act like this towards nothing less than Supreme Court justices, what more with ordinary mortals like us who’ll piss them off?

I’m not saying that the Supreme Court was correct in issuing the TRO. Neither am I saying that it would be wrong for Farinas and Quimbo to file an impeachment complaint against the justices.

What I’m driving at is everybody should STAY CALM and resolve differences as PEACEFULLY and as quickly as possible.

The Corona impeachment trial is already EATING UP a whole damned lot of the precious time of the Senate and of the congressmen-prosecutors.

But except for those who are after the hours-long media exposure, NOBODY has been winning. IT’S US, the people, who have been LOSING THE BIGGEST, with millions of our taxes being spent on the trial’s needs.

And we will lose MILLIONS MORE if we won’t shout in one earth-shaking and UNITED voice, that the politics and politicking in the Corona trial are MORE THAN ENOUGH for us.

The choice is ours, people
