TAKUTAN NA ANG LABAN SA IMPEACHMENT!

TAKUTAN NA ANG LABAN sa Corona  impeachment!

Following the Supreme Court’s temporary restraining order (TRO) against the subpoena to PS Bank for the supposed dollar accounts of Corona, prosecutor Ilocos Norte Rep. Rudy Farinas said he will file an impeachment complaint against the justices who voted for the TRO.

Prosecution spokesman Marikina Rep. Miro Quimbo said they would support the move of Farinas. Commenting on the possibility of a constitutional crisis, Quimbo arrogantly added “The Supreme Court brought it upon themselves.”

NO CLARIFICATIONS, NO DIALOGUES, nothing whatsoever.

Instead of first exploring all possible remedies, Farinas and Quimbo would rather do another Corona. As if they’re telling the justices who voted against the subpoena “Allow the subpoena or prepare for trouble.”

It seems Farinas and Quimbo don’t take ‘no’ for an answer whenever they want something.

Their declarations would have been alright if Farinas and Quimbo are acknowledged top guns when it comes to law who can spar anytime with any justice of the Supreme Court.

But as far as I know, they’re not.  Anybody correct me if I’m wrong.

I remember Farinas being in the top 10 when he passed the bar exams. But again, I don’t recall him having spent a good number of years as a judge recognized for his intellect and wisdom.

Again, anybody correct me if I’m wrong.

So think hard, ladies and gentlemen: If Farinas and Quimbo can think and act like this towards nothing less than Supreme Court justices, what more with ordinary mortals like us who’ll piss them off?

I’m not saying that the Supreme Court was correct in issuing the TRO. Neither am I saying that it would be wrong for Farinas and Quimbo to file an impeachment complaint against the justices.

What I’m driving at is everybody should STAY CALM and resolve differences as PEACEFULLY and as quickly as possible.

The Corona impeachment trial is already EATING UP a whole damned lot of the precious time of the Senate and of the congressmen-prosecutors.

But except for those who are after the hours-long media exposure, NOBODY has been winning. IT’S US, the people, who have been LOSING THE BIGGEST, with millions of our taxes being spent on the trial’s needs.

And we will lose MILLIONS MORE if we won’t shout in one earth-shaking and UNITED voice, that the politics and politicking in the Corona trial are MORE THAN ENOUGH for us.

The choice is ours, people

From the readers:

PRIVATE PROSECUTORS MUST ALSO REVEAL THEIR MOTIVES!

JOSEF RAMOS of Makati
They must also reveal their SALNs.

MARIO GUILLEN
They want Corona fired!

AUDI MAGNAYE of San Pascual, Batangas
The impeachment is on its second item ONLY and there are eight, enough time for media exposure as a reason but just like a long worn out and mismatched battle, an upset knockout is not farfetched. But there are laws to be made and passed...will we come out as a people who do not have mansions and condos and a hefty bank account VICTORIOUS?

RENATO FLORES of Makati
Yes, everybody’s motives.

FELY PADDEN of Cebu City
Kailangan pa bang i reveal? Klarong-klaro..Sa pulitika, isa lang ang motive, personal or political. No permanent friends. Kaya nga weather-weather lang.

MERIT SALUD of Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA
Disagree. Motives of private prosecutors (and or defense counsels ) are immaterial on the innocence or guilt of CJ Corona for an  impeachable offense.

DOMINGO RAMOS
Defense team first!

JOE ALVARADO JR. of Makati
Lawyers, like doctors, are duty-bound to give their services to anybody that needs them regardless of anything.

TORO HYDEN
They want to impeach Corona.

SOLID EXAMPLE OF ANTI-CORONA BRAINWASHING!

BEN of South Cotabato
I support what you are doing, Boyet. Our family here in South Cotabato voted for Pnoy during the last elections and we have immensely regretted doing that due to what's happening to our country today.Thank you for exposing the story at the other side of the coin. More power to this blog.

A CHALENGE TO BIR’S FAIRNESS!

JOSE NORMAN LO
Or anyone similarly situated as an exemplar of fairness for all.

Please don’t be biased to the prosecution. Post an article about the danger signs on the defense side. If we want freedom of information, the people also want freedom in knowing the truth..

Let CJ Corona's trial finish first, then file a case again against Tupas. Kumbaga, tuloy-tuloy na ang paglilinis.

ANONYMOUS

May you please post a pro prosecution article? It seems that from your point of view, the defense and Corona are both infallible. How about the delaying tactics of the defense and their effort to suppress the evidence and the truth? If Corona is really clean, he had nothing to hide. So why suppress the evidence?

TUPAS’ TURN TO PROVE HE’S CLEAN!

GEOFF DELOS SANTOS
Tupas is not on trial here. But if the people want to check whether all the participants in the Chamber are clean, they maybe disappointed.

GINA MANDIN of Bacolod City
It will be our great misfortune if we get swayed by this kind of tactic, diverting from the issue.

RODERICK ORALLO
We don/t digress from the issue. That's a neat one to divert attention. Tupas is not the respondent in the impeachment trial.

ARSENIA DE GRACIA of Houston, Texas, USA
The next thing you’ll know, everyone including the prosecutors will be asked to show their assets I don't know about their liabilities. I bet they are all corrupt!30
