SC LUISITA DECISION STRONG MESSAGE TO PNOY!

The Supreme Court (SC) decision basing the value of Hacienda Luisita (HL) on 1989 rates instead of 2006 which Pnoy’s relatives had wanted sends a strong message to the President.

He can’t SCARE, and DICTATE on, the High Tribunal.

If you will recall, there were widespread talks of more justices lined up for impeachment after Chief Justice Renato Corona was hauled to the Senate Impeachment Court by the House of Representatives.

Singled out were justices perceived as loyal in one way or another to Corona.

But in the voting on the HL valuation, eight justices led by Corona voted to uphold the court’s earlier ruling using 1989 real estate rates as basis for computing how much should Pnoy’s relatives get for the hacienda.

To hell with impeachment threats, or what Pnoy and his relatives had asked for the Hacienda.

And to give more flesh to their independence and adherence to the rule of law, the SC issued a temporary restraining order (TRO) on the government’s purchase of the PCOS machines intended for the 2013 elections.

If Pnoy, and his advisers, know what’s good for him, he’ll stop attacking the SC with BASELESS tirades and start RESPECTING the judiciary’s independence.

Somebody had better hammer into his head that whether he likes it not, it’s the law which the SC will follow in their actions and decisions, and not what he wants.

He may be the President but HE’S NOT THE LAW! Unless he’ll proclaim himself as DICTATOR.

And in case Pnoy intensifies his attacks on Corona and the SC instead of respecting their decision like a TRUE STATESMAN and gentleman, time to start thinking, people, if he still deserves to be president.

You can see that there is a build-up to the continuation of the IC (impeachment case) very soon. That is the reason why the "desperate surveys" are coming out. The truth is that Corona will be acquitted and the public will not react. There is no such thing as people power used for selfish reasons, a people power used to protect an idiot like Abnoy!
