TEST OF RAISSA ROBLES' CREDIBILITY!

For the sake of whatever CREDIBILITY and PROFESSIONALISM she thinks she has, journalist Raissa Robles had better have one good explanation on why she should not be branded an INTRIGERA.

Chief Justice Renato Corona has just flatly denied Robles’ blog linking him and his family to a property each in Tampa, Florida and Mountainview in California, both in the  USA.

This follows a comment by one of Robles’ readers, who identified herself only as Masha, who said she checked with the Hillsborough County appraiser website and discovered that the registered owner of the Florida property is one Venerando Batas.

And another comment by one Buddy Gomez who said the Coronas DO NOT HAVE properties registered under their names in the said areas in the US (one of the very first appointees of President Aquino’s mom Cory after she became president was TOMAS “BUDDY’ GOMEZ).

Corona informed GMANews Online that the California property were apartments rented by her two daughters, who are both licensed physical therapists in the US, at various times over the past 14 years.

Corona said the Florida property belonged to a friend, where they stayed several times in the past when they visited Tampa and Orlando/Disney World.

So now, Robles has only two choices -- DISPROVE what Corona said and produce supporting evidence of what she described as links of the Chief Justice and his family to the US properties.

Or be PROFESSIONAL and CIVIL enough to admit that the blog was PURELY INTRIGA, and explain WHY she still posted it.

If Robles can’t produce proof of Corona’s link to the US properties, and refuses to admit to INTRIGA and convincingly explain why, she doesn’t deserve even A DROP OF CREDIBILITY anymore.

God have mercy on those who’ll still have faith in her.

I believe the prosecutors should be made liable for violating certain provisions of the law when they published the supposed 45 properties of the CJ ...later on found an incorrect figure. For me, apology is not in order. The damage has been done to CJ Corona. They should execute an affidavit of correction, air it all over the four corners of the media and face their punishment.
