PART 2: SWS SURVEY MALICIOUS, ONE-SIDED!

A personal friend of mine told me there’s no way Pnoy or the prosecution panel in the impeachment trial had anything to do with the Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey saying 73 percent of the people want Chief Justice Renato Corona convicted. 

To avoid a debate, since we’ve been friends from way back, I immediately replied:

Then, the SWS had better reveal who commissioned the survey. Pnoy and the prosecution panel are the ones with the biggest motive to oust Corona.

Reveal as in show the contract for the survey to media.

It’s public knowledge that SWS is one of the MOST EXPENSIVE survey firms in the country. Only the likes of Pnoy and the prosecution panel, who have millions at their disposal, can afford to spend for non-essential undertakings like surveys.

If it turns out that the SWS client is not Pnoy or the prosecution, then his or her possible links to the President or the prosecution can be determined.

I emphasized to my friend that the SWS had better not have the stomach to claim that the survey was for free and of their OWN volition.  The people are NOT THAT STUPID.

Whether or not anybody admits it, the survey wanted to PREJUDGE the case in favor of the prosecution.

The thrust of the survey was does the people think Corona was guilty, based ONLY ON THE PROSECUTION’S EVIDENCE since it’s the only one who has finished with its presentation of the case.

The timing of the survey and the release of the results should also be explained by the SWS.

As I had pointed out in our preceding blog, the survey was conducted from March 10 to 13, RIGHT AFTER the prosecution had rested its case and the defense was just starting to present witnesses and proof.

That means it’s a ONE-SIDED SURVEY. If SWS is for fair play, it should have conducted the survey AFTER the defense has presented its case.

When both sides shall have presented their case and respondents would have been in a BETTER POSITION to make a more RATIONAL REPLY to the survey questions.

Only after that should the survey results be released.

But since the poll was conducted when the defense had BARELY BEGUN to present its case, the OBVIOUS, VULGAR intent was to BRAINWASH the people in favor of the prosecution.

The survey CLEARLY wanted to BLOCK whatever significance the evidence of the defense may have from the PUBLIC MIND.

I assured my friend that I would welcome any clarification from him. That goes for everybody. Just be sure it’s DETAILED and not just a generic or self-serving statement.

For me, it’s a fixed survey. Any man of reason can't appreciate the evidences presented by the prosecution. The withdrawal of five  articles of impeachment is a big blow. It's unbelievable 70 percent is (still) for a guilty verdict against the CJ.

During the elections, Penoy’s camp continuously released SWS  surveys to condition the mind of the people that he is winning. Now, they are using the same formula to oust CJ.
