QUESTIONS ON THE SERENO CONTROVERSY!

I have some questions on the supposed observations of Supreme Court Associate Justice Ma. Lourdes Sereno of irregularities in the tribunal’s issuance of a temporary restraining order (TRO) allowing former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to leave for abroad.

If there were indeed irregularities, why is it only SERENO who wrote about it in her dissenting opinion on the TRO? If she’s MORALLY UPRIGHT as she’s supposed to be, why didn’t she reveal this IMMEDIATELY, especially to media?

Surely, she’s smart enough to realize that she would have done the people, and the country, a MONUMENTAL FAVOR had she talked about it PUBLICLY or in MEDIA right after the supposed irregularities happened.

Instead, she kept QUIET!

Yet, Sereno included the supposed irregularities in her dissenting opinion on the issuance of the TRO, which she definitely knew would be accessible to the public.

So if he wanted the people to know about it sooner or later, why didn’t she do it herself?

Sereno is an appointee of Pnoy to the Supreme Court. There’s another one, male if I remember correctly. But neither did this other appointee speak up in support of her allegations in her opinion.

Even if had they done so, Sereno and her fellow Pnoy appointee  would have earned IMMEASURABLE ‘pogi points’ from President Aquino, and eternal gratitude from the public.

I sure hope these questions would be answered by Sereno or by any competent resource person.

But as I wait, let me appeal again to you guys --  don’t allow anyone among the impeachment trial prosecutors or spokespersons from Malacanang FOOL YOU  regarding Sereno’s supposed revelations.

NOBODY among the prosecutors or Malacanang officials was present when Sereno wrote her dissenting opinion. So nobody can act as her UNOFFICIAL spokesperson.

What we have heard so far are only SELF-SERVING INTERPRETATIONS of people who had talked about Sereno’s opinion, like Justice Sec, Leila de Lima who had testified for the prosecution in the Corona impeachment trial BASED MAINLY on it.

The TRO was voted upon by all members of the Supreme Court. So if the controversy continues, FAIRNESS DICTATES that all the justices must also be questioned.

For the simple reason that Sereno’s word is NOT the ONLY POSSIBLE TRUTH on the issue. The other justices who voted on the TRO naturally have their own versions of the irregularity she had alleged.

That’s the TRUE OVERALL PICTURE of the situation, people.

Mr Antonio don't be too quick in judging people. Are you a psychiatrist? Even psychiatrists do not conclude anything without scientific findings. Is there anything wrong in calling for reforms in the judiciary? In calling for action against corruption in the judiciary or any branch of government.

Your observation is correct. My two nieces who passed the Nursing board exam are still jobless despite our connections to some people in the medical industry. Sons and daughters of relatives and friends are still jobless while some are on contractual basis only. A daughter of a co-employee who also passed the Nursing board exam is now a call center agent because since last year, she cannot find a job in any hospital in Metro Manila. So what 2M jobs is  Penoy talking about?
