The Sandiganbayan has officially declared it will not issue a new arrest warrant for former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo (GMA) for the plunder case which has just been filed against her.

Despite the clamor of the Office of the Ombudsman which filed the case.

The Sandiganbayan said it will not issue a warrant against GMA until the Ombudsman has resolved her motion for reconsideration (MR), which is PROVIDED FOR BY LAW but was SHAMELESSLY IGNORED by the Ombudsman.

Strike 2 na ito para kay Pnoy.

Una ay ang pagbibigay ng piyansa kay GMA dahil naman sa kahinaan ng ebidensiya ng testigo laban sa kanya sa kaniyang kasong electoral sabotage.

Hats off to the Sandiganbayan for not giving in to pressure and sticking to the rule of law.

But you want to know what’s alarming, guys?

It’s the DICTATORIAL MENTALITY of Pnoy and his government which is UNDENIABLY EMERGING in his obsession to make GMA suffer.

Strictly speaking, Pnoy is NOT SUPPOSED to interfere in decisions in the Judiciary since it is a co-equal and separate branch form the Executive, whch he heads as President.

But in a comment Thursday night,. Pnoy lambasted the Pasay City judge who granted bail to GMA for asking the IMPOSSIBLE from the government prosecutors.

Pnoy said no one else could have corroborated or proven the statement of the witness that he heard GMA allegedly order former Maguindanao Gov. Andal Ampatuan to cheat in the 2007 polls since NOBODY ELSE WAS PRESENT.  

In effect, Pnoy is saying that the witness’ testimony is GOSPEL-TRUTH regardless of anything like solid proof and credibility, and should be taken hook, line and sinker.

Kumbaga, iyun  ang dapat paniwalaan at sundin. Diktador lang ang may ganitong takbo ng utak.

Ombudsman prosecutors are well-aware of the right of the accused to a motion for reconsideration before a case is filed. But not only did they ignore it, they even had the stomach to ask the Sandiganbayan to order GMA’s arrest based on the plunder case they had filed.

AN ILLEGAL ARREST, a known practice in a dictatorship, had their request been granted.

Boyet, nakakaalarma ang lantarang pagtutol ni Pnoy sa ruling ng Pasay RTC. Kahit na presidente siya ay wala siyang karapatang pakialaman ang desisyon ng mga korte. Ngayon lang ito nangyayari sa bansa. Ang presidente, hindi ginagalang ang ruling ng mga korte kung ito'y hindi pabor sa gusto niya.
