DON'T BE FOOLED BY PNOY'S SONA!

DON’T BE FOOLED by Pnoy’s State-of-the-Nation Address (SONA) tomorrow, people.

You will hear SKY-HIGH AMOUNTS -- tens or hundreds of billions spent or released and allocated for this and that government project.

You will hear statistics of supposed millions of people with new jobs or benefiting from this and that government project like the conditional cash transfer (CCT) program, which is NOT AN ORIGINAL idea of Pnoy or his boys.

There will be MIND-BOGGLING or OUTSTANDING data of supposed accomplishments of various government agencies. Through all these, DON’T FORGET TO LOOK FOR SPECIFICS.

Remember, Pnoy’s word is NOT GOSPEL TRUTH.  

Hindi porke siya ang Pangulo ng bansa ay tutoo lahat ang sasabihin niya. KAHIT NA SINO, as in kahit na sino, ay maaaring sabihin na ganito o ganoong karami na ang mga nagawa niya o naisakatuparan na. niya sa kaniyang posisyon.

So if Pnoy will claim that millions of people have found jobs under his administration, look for even a few names, both of the newly-hired and the companies which took them in.

If he will cite accomplishments in infrastructure, look for SPECIFICS of the projects like exact location, detailed description and when were these started and finished.

Tinanong ko na ito noon at tatanungin ko ulit kayo, mga kababayan:

Mula nang maging presidente si Pnoy dalawang taon na ang lumipas, MAY NABALITAAN O NAKITA nab a kayo na kahit ISANG TULAY, KALSADA, PIER, AIRPORT o anupamang imprastraktura na nagawa at natapos ng kaniyang administrasyon?

Iyong gobyerno niya ang nagpondo, hindi ibang bansa o pribadong sektor? Ako, WALA kahit isa.  Pero TULUY-TULOY ang koleksiyon ng buwis iba pang kinikita ng Goberyno.

Keep in mind that successfully bidding out or starting construction work, or releasing funds for a particular project, is NOT AN ACCOMPLISHMENT. An accomplishment is something that’s been FINISHED already.

Look for the same things in whatever achievement Pnoy will claim in his SONA.

Because that’s what a SONA should be… WHAT HAS BEEN DONE by Pnoy and the results, and NOT WHAT HE PLANS TO DO.

Kung BULAG NATING PANINIWALAAN BILANG KATOTOHANANN ang anumang sasabihin ni Pnoy sa kaniyang SONA, kahit WALANG MALINAW na pruweba, WALA NANG PIPIGIL sa kaniya o sa kaniyang mga tauhan para LOKOHIN TAYO NG LOKOHIN.

TAYO ANG TALO, hindi siya!
