IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO GMA, BLAME THE GOV'T!

In fairness to former President now Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, the Pnoy Government had better TALK and ACT FAST on reports that she is facing a life-threatening physical condition.

If not, then NOBODY IS TO BLAME but Pnoy and his boys should anything happen to GMA. It will be INDISPUTABLE PROOF of how INHUMANE and VENGEFUL is this Administration on its perceived political foes.

The Philippine Daily Inquirer’s website reported that the titanium implant in GMA’s neck has protruded to her esophagus, causing her to choke.

Inquirer sources quoted Makati Medical Center cardiologist Robert Anastacio as saying that: “The choking episode is life threatening and a corrective surgery should be conducted on (Mrs.) Arroyo as soon as possible.”

Inquirer sources added that a doctor present during the examination on GMA said the corrective surgery had to be done abroad as “no doctor would touch her here because of her delicate medical situation.”

Here’s where the SUSPICIOUS part comes in.

Dr. Nona Legaspi, head of the Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMMC,) where GMA is detained, would neither confirm nor deny the Inquirer story, despite the fact that A VMMC medical team OBSERVED THE EXAMINATION on GMA at the Makati Medical Center.

What kind of BULLSHIT is this?

The VMMC medical team witnessed the examination. The Inquirer story did not say they had objected to the examination or had found the results UNACCEPTABLE.

So why wouldn’t Legaspi confirm the examination results? Doesn’t she trust her own medical team or Makati Med?

Legaspi’s defense was she could not give an official statement because the examination was not done in the VMCC.

Then why the hell did she or other MMC officials allow the examination at Makati Med? They should have insisted on doing it themselves at their own turf. But there are no reports that they did  

If Legaspi wants a separate exam by VMMC personnel on GMA, does she have qualified people to do it? Is the hospital; equipped for the procedure?

That VMMC exam had better be done as soon as possible. And I mean ASAP! I’m not saying that the Makati Med exam on GMA is 100 percent accurate.

What I’m saying is when a doctor says a patient is facing a life-threatening condition, not even a second must be wasted to ensure that he or she stays alive, and safe.

If the patient dies, whoever DELAYED THE TREATMENT is the KILLER, not the ailment.
