DON'T PANIC OVER NORTH KOREAN ROCKET!

From asking the people to stay indoors several days ago, the government is now asking local officials THROUGHOUT LUZON to be ready for evacuation if necessary when North Korea launches its rocket anytime from April 12 to 16.

But up to now, they can’t even be a little more SPECIFIC on what dangers can we expect if debris from the rocket falls on land and not on the sea as predicted.

Disaster officials said if a big chunk of the rocket falls on a populated area, heavy casualties are possible.

But nobody can say HOW BIG CAN BIG BE!

Is it the size of a car, a small house or small building, an airplane or a jumbo jet? Since the almost daily advisories on the launch started, I have yet to hear of even one government official giving the EXACT LENGTH and DIAMETER of the North Korean rocket.

Estimates show that the second stage of the rocket is expected to fall into the sea 190 KILOMETERS east of the NORTHERN part of our country.  If it indeed falls into the water, how then can it still affect the land considering the distance?

It can trigger a tsunami, is that it?

Anybody correct me if I’m wrong – 190 kilometers is approximately the distance between the Balintawak tollgate and Pangasinan.

But since the Department of Interior and Local Government is asking officials ALL OVER LUZON to be ready for evacuation, HOW then can it affect the southern part, which is on the OTHER END of or hundreds of kilometers away from the north? Or the eastern or western?

I’m not saying that we shouldn’t worry about the North Korean rocket.  My point is why should the government go into PANIC MODE?  Staying home during the launch, as disaster officials had first advised, is perfectly understandable.

But to place millions of other people living in areas hundreds of kilometers away from the expected fall of debris from the rocket on evacuation readiness, WITHOUT CLEAR-CUT scenarios of possible mayhem or destruction, is OVERACTING to the max.

So before you let this rocket advisories RATTLE you, ladies and gentlemen, to the point of panic, DEMAND FIRST for details from your local government and disaster officials.

If they can’t give any IGNORE THEM, STAY HOME AND PRAY!

MINDANAO POWER CRISIS SUSPICIOUS, IMMORAL!

Tama, may vested interest na naman ang KKK ni Penoy. Balik sa dating gawi sa gobyerno. Kukuha ng pambayad,  la pa nga decision sa case filed before sa NMPC.

The Mindanao power crisis is a production of idiots and corrupt businessmen and government officials.

FE ALBURO
Now its inevitable. The electric cooperatives in Mindanao will be forced to buy electricity from the IPPs (independent power producers) meaning, electricity there becomes very expensive. Who owns these IPPs? Well, dapat pa bang i-memorize yan?

Mindanao power crisis is the game of stupid, irresponsible government officials. Samahan pa ng mga negosyanteng tarantado.

Noy-noy I was right when I did not vote for you as Senator and later on as President, judging from your track record. I was very worried when you finally decided to run for President, and very much afraid of our future when you won. My fears are getting clear -- you are even worse as President, than being a senator or congressman. Wake up, Noynoy!! You have four years more. Are you going to sit it out or are you going to step down?

FROM READERS WHO ASKED NOT TO BE NAMED:
Bakit sino ba sa admin ni Abnoy ang hindi sinungaling? Kung mga pwesecutors nga, panay kasinungalingan ang pinaggagawa sa impeachment eh! they are a bunch of LIARS!!!

Ang babaw ng pananaw n’yo.

I read the news. I could tell that you have intentionally and deliberately misquoted them.

I respect the right of the writer to express his opinion. But his last word is just not acceptable. What is he trying to do? Inciting the people to rebel against the government?

PINOY SIMPLY STUPID AND ARROGANT!

TROSP
Some murphylogical epigrams (Murphy’s Laws) for Penoy:

If Penoy has any way of making a mistake, he will.

If there’s more than one way to do a job, and one of those ways will result in disaster, then Penoy will do it that way.Penoy's leadership: anything that can go wrong, already has, you’re just not aware of it yet!

If there is a possibility of several things going wrong, trust Penoy, the one that will cause the most damage will be the first one to go wrong.

The 50-50-90 rule: Anytime Penoy has a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there’s a 90 percent probability he’ll get it wrong. Light travels faster than sound. This is why Lacierda and Valte appear to be bright until you hear them speak.

FROM READERS WHO ASKED NOT TO BE NAMED:

It was Pres. Quezon who once said that his loyalty to his party ends where his loyalty to the country begins. Our loyalty should be to the Filipino people and not to GMA. We are all aware of recent history and what is going on.

Pnoy, even if he is a son of Ninoy and Cory was and is always a nobody. Nobody believes in him, even his parents and sisters. But definitely, presidency is a destiny. So when he became president, he poured all his frustrations to his perceived enemies, like GMA and CJ Corona. He knows nobody believes in him and those who are pretending are just using him. So gamitan na lang. He is using the people's money to buy people to be his allies, media included. He knows power can be bought and as long as these people's pockets are full, he has nothing to worry about. That is why he is so arrogant. But his "bosses" are already restless. With nothing to show but grabbing the credits from the previous administration which he and his ilk so shamelessly destroyed, the day of reckoning is near. The arrogant but non-performing Pnoy will surely be exposed for what he is really is. A perennial nobody with limited visions and brains the size of a memory card of his PSP.

Every Filipino who is human and has wealth of understanding should pity CJ Corona for the persecution he has received from the Aquino administration. I was so discouraged I had to discontinue my investment in the Philippines, which I started during the Arroyo regime. I hope and pray my kababayan improve their attitude and change their minds. 30
